Penne and Vodka Sauce

Very simple and suprizingly yummy. Didn't change anything in the recipe and it came out terrific. Definitely will make it again.

I made this marinade for beef skewers and everyone that had them at our party LOVED them. Wow! I have to admit the whole time I was preparing it I just wasn't sure about the combination of BBQ with the martini ingredients, but it was a knock out! I mixed it all in a zipper bag and marinated my large cubes of beef for the skewers overnight. It was excellent. Thank you!

Basil Shrimp

The flavors in this recipe were wonderful! The butter through me for loop a little since it solidifies in the refrig and when you take it out it just doesn't look ready for the grill. However, I think it added a nice buttery flavor and created a true "sauce" that stuck a little to the shrimp.

Easy Caramelized Onion Pork Chops

Very good and easy recipe. I opted for garlic salt and Italian seasoning instead of seasoning salt and beef broth instead of water. I let it cook for over 20 minutes but it never evaporated. I was afraid it would get dry if overcooked, so we ate it without the full caramelization of the onions. But, it was still good.

Cowboy Macaroni

This was a good, basic recipe that was easy and everyone liked. I added some seasoning..s&p, garlic powder..because I couldn't imagine these ingredients without some flavor added.

Turkey Pot Pie

I've made this a couple times now and we love it! It's simple and so good! Made it after Thanksgiving for family staying with us with leftovers and everyone wanted the recipe. I use ready made pie crusts to speed things up. Definitely in the "favorites" section of my recipes.

Spicy Orange Beef

"Spicy" in the title is a little misleading. There was no heat to this. Next time I'll add some type of hot sauce and some vegetables. The beef turned out great and the sauce had a good consistency, but there was so much sauce and not much to the dish. Good base to add on to next time.

Turkey Pot Pie I

So easy and tasted great. I used refrigerated pie crust and it turned out really flaky and golden. Next time will add more herbs for a little extra flavor.
