Slow Cooker Beef Pot Roast

This is the best pot roast I have ever made. All I can say is wow. Reminds me of the way my mom made it growing up. Tender pot roast, wonderful flavor and a good smelling house too. Fabulous served over mashed red potatoes with the homemade gravy on top. No changes for me, I like it the way it is.

Sweet and Spicy Sweet Potatoes

What a wonderful recipe!!My husband LOVES it and even asked to make them on Thanksgiving instead of the candied ones I make(I think I will change it up a bit:) They were so delish and not too spicy at all. Very easy to make ahead and keep warm, which was what I did and they came out great! I used 2 small/medium potatoes and the seasoning was perfect. Will keep this around for a long time...

Fondant Potatoes

Ha Cha Cha! These are great! The best potatoes I have made. Creamy with the flavor of the stock, amazing. I did not have russet potatoes so I used red potatoes making sure of the size for correct baking. I used olive oil and 1Tsp. dried thyme. Great flavor, I would love to try them with rosemary too. Can't wait to make them again!

Red Enchilada Sauce

I made sure to read the reviews and decided to make it with the tomato paste also. The sauce came out awesome! It was a bit like pasta sauce but with a mild kick. I made it ahead of time and simmered it for a few hours, half by itself and half with shredded chicken in it for extra tenderness. Great sauce!! I loved it and will definately use this one again. I also added a little bit of taco seasoning for just the right amount of spice for me. YUM!!

Corn Tortillas

These were great! Much better than store bought! I don't have a press, so I did as another reviewer suggested and used a plastic freezer bag cut in half. Worked really well. I did add about a 1/4 tsp. salt and skipped the 30 min. rest part. They still turned out good, I won't be buying any soon.

Cream Cheese Frosting II

WOW, this was so fantastic! I can't imagine changing anything in this recipe! I put it on my carrot cake and it was perfect consistency and great flavor! I had no problems what so ever and it was so yummy! Simply the best I've ever made!

J.P.'s Big Daddy Biscuits

Woah, these are the best! I can't say how many times I have made these. I received the recipe from my sister who found it in the Allrecipes cookbook. My father-in-law says that they are the best he has ever had. Maybe it's just me, but I always have to add like an extra cup of flour when I make them, otherwise they are too doughy to handle at all. Doesn't matter because they still come out fluffy and sky high. My mother-in-law asked how I got they to rise so much. I haven't made any other biscuits since I found this one. I will put up a picture the next time I make them. By the way, they are great as biscuits and gravy.

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

What a delicious recipe for chicken! I followed Valerie's Kitchen review without covering it and it came out perfect! I did not have light soy sauce so I used 3/4 cup regular soy sauce and 1/4 cup water. It seemed to be just the right amount of saltiness. Great with rice and veggies. My sister copied the recipe and made it for her family too!

Easy Dinner Hash

This came out really good. I did not have sausage or frozen veggies so I used bacon and canned instead. My husband really likes meat & potato meals like this. I would definately make this again. With the leftovers we put it in burritos with salsa. Really yummy that way!

Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I

This was so good and easy to make! I followed the reviewers suggestions and it came out perfect! I wrote down the alterations so I do not have to scour the reviews again when I want to make it. Whew, there are a lot of reviews! I served fresh sauted mushrooms over it and it was awesome! I used london broil that I thick sliced and it cooked nicely, some pieces did fall apart. I could not find golden mushroom soup, so I just used cream of mushroom and it worked well. I will definately make this again!!

Snickerdoodles II

I just made these and the are amazingly easy and delicious! I followed other reviewers advice- used butter and baked them at 375 for 9 minutes. The came out perfect! I believe my cookie curse has been lifted as I made these to perfection. Normally I cannot bake cookies if my life depended on it. Ever. I will defintely make these again to hand out with Christmas cards to family and friends. Happy Baking!!

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

What a delicious and moist meatloaf! Very good flavor, and the brown sugar/ketchup "topping" added the perfect flavor. Everyone loved it, my mother-in-law asked for the recipe to make it herself. I used only 1/2C milk and put the brown sugar/ketchup on top, where it definitely belonged. Not on the bottom. My favorite meatloaf recipe for sure!!

Pumpkin Pancakes

DELICIOUS! They don't come any better than this. Fluffy and almost cake like. Great pumpkin flavor blended with subtle spices. I did not have any allspice so instead of 1/2tsp allspice I used 1/4tsp nutmeg & 1/4tsp ground cloves. YUM! Why on earth would anyone want to tweek this recipe??

Iced Pumpkin Cookies

These are pure perfect pumpkin cookies. They are so fluffy and tasty. I've not had pumpkin cookies this good. I added raisins and it's like pumpkin bread in bite size form. My husband suggested adding "drunk raisins" next time instead of plain ones by soaking them in rum. Sounds delicious to me!

My Mother-in-Law's Plum Bread

Delicious! I mad this with fresh plums off of a friends tree and it was so good. All I had on hand was some peach yogurt and used it in place of plain. Great taste. My plums were a bit too juicy and part of the dough came out gooey, but cooked. The texture was very cake like but not at all too sweet like cake. I love it. I might us less plums next time to see how it comes out. Perfect with coffee and friends :)

Restaurant-Style Buffalo Chicken Wings

Wonderful hot wings! I made them with Mexican hot sauce, which was all I had, and added a bit of brown sugar for that "sweet and spicy" effect. Perfect! I left them in the refrigerator the full 90 minutes and they were so crispy even after adding the sauce. I did not soak them in the sauce, just drizzled enough to coat, and put the remaining sauce in a side serving dish for whom ever wanted more. Also, I did not have wings so I used drumsticks and they were still awesome. You really can't improve on perfect. This one is going in my recipe box for sure.

Sam's Famous Carrot Cake

Honestly, this has to be the best carrot cake I've ever had, and my first one made. I made it for my husbands birthday and everyone said it was the best they have ever had! It was so moist and full of flavor. I LOVE this recipe. I made it exactly as it said putting the batter in two 8 inch round cake pans. It was so simple to make and tastes amazing!

Turkey Pot Pie I

This has to be the best pot pie I have ever made! It has so much flavor and is very easy to make. I made it while my in-laws were over for dinner and the loved it! Next time I think I will try it with chicken. I can't wait to make it again!
