I'm a veterinarian in Western New York, soon to be married and living in Ottawa, Canada. While my first passion is caring for my patients, baking, cooking, and hockey are closely tied for second. I love to bake! My fiance is bound and determined to have me sell my pies and cookies. Growing up, we always baked several kinds of cookies for Christmas. Now my sister and I do this every year, and give the cookies as presents. Baking my grandmother's coconut cream pie. Attempting Thai food. It hasn't been pretty. Or tasty for that matter.
