Black Bean and Salsa Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2006
Totally loved this. I used PACE's salsa with Cilantro. I was concerned that the lack of ingredients was going to leave it very plain, but I was wrong. I love Panera Bread's black bean soup, and this gives me the same taste. Fabulous!

Key Lime Pie VIII

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2005
This is delicious! I used Nellie & Joe's Key Lime Juice. It made it very tart (that's why only 4 stars). Next time I think I will cut the juice down a little. Make sure to use a deep dish pie crust, as the recipe makes a good amount of filling. I could have made a second pie with the extra filling, but I filled small dessert cups with it, piped on some extra whipped topping and called it Key Lime Mousse!

Beth's Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2003
These were delicious; my coworkers gobbled these up. The spices are what make the difference in these cookies. I followed the advice of several others reviewers and lessened the amount of cloves, which I also felt was too much. These were wonderful and will absolutely be making these again.

Flaky Cinnamon Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2003
Very simple and easy to make. The hardest part is allowing the puff pastry to thaw. I recommend lining the pan with Silpat sheet (a non-stick sheet that costs about $20 and is well worth the money spent if you do a lot of cookie baking) to keep the sugar from sticking to the pan. Over all a very delicious treat.
