Doggie Birthday Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2012
A great Doggy Recipe! I made these in mini muffin pans! Decorated with Fat Free Cream Cheese blended with Sugar Free Peanut Butter Frosting Mix. Left out the Oil. Not need for it. The peanut butter has enough oil for the cake. Also Dogs should not have white flour, You must use whole wheat flour.

Carrot Cake III

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2012
The Most Moist and Delicious Carrot Cake! I did double the recipe and did not add nuts to the mix. I put them on the side of the round cake. i also made these changes, 1) using 1 cup brown sugar and 1 cup white sugar 2) adding an extra teaspoon of vanilla extract 3) adding 1 8oz. can of crushed pineapple (I squeezed out most of the juice before adding it, I didn't want any extra fluids in the cake) 4) Added 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg 5) added 1 extra teaspoon of cinnamon 6) used 3/4 cup canola oil and 1/2 cup applesauce. The result came out incredibly delicious - the cake was very flavorful and moist. For the frosting, I only used 3 cups of powdered sugar.

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2012
The title says it all! I did not boil my noodles like others suggested, I put my noddles in a pan of hot water and let sit for about 20 minutes while i was prepping the sauce. I simmerd the sauce for only about 25 minutes on top of the stove and it was still great. I let the lasagna sit in the fridge overnight to let the flavors blend. It was soooo good!

Red Raspberry Chocolate Brownie

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2012
Great Recipe! Made with home made whipped topping instead of the frozen stuff! though it made double the topping and made much more fluffy! I froze the extra and you can use to fill cupcakes or fill a chocolate cake!

Cream Cheese Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2013
This is a delicious and mosit sugar cookie recipe. I add a 1/4 tsp of lemon extract as well. I roll my dough into a log, double wrap it into saran wrap and let sit a full 24 hours in the fridge. I use a whole egg too. (because most of the time i forget to seperate! :) The key is keeping this dough cold. When it gets warm it is too hard to work with. So cut of a log at a time and keep the rest in the fridge while you work. Everyone loved these for christmas i iced them with the sugar cookie icing recipe from this website.

Honey Glazed Ham

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2012
I combined this recipe and another honey glazed recipe. Basicly omit the cloves on the ham and i mixed in a small amount of ground gloves with the brown sugar mix I did not sautee the mix at all but did add corn syrup about 1/2 c. Baked the ham in a roaster for about 2 hours, lined with foil easy clean up. So i combined the corn syrup, honey, brown sugar, and gloves brushed ham with the mixture all over. Pinned pineapple slices on the ham with toothpicks and topped the tooth picks with merachino cherries. Poured the pineapple juice from the can over the whole ham. brushed the ham again with the honey mixture. While cooking i basted the ham about every 20 minutes. 1st ham i ever made and everyone said it was better then a honey baked!

Chicken Asparagus Roll-Ups

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2012
This was DELICIOUS! I used my meat tenderizer and it made a HUGE difference.. I sliced a thick chicken breast in half and that was perfect for this dish. I added about 5 slim pieces of asparagus. You can use any kind of white cheese. I use shredded mozzarella. I did spread some of the mustard mix on the chicken before i rolled it with the asparagus. Will definitly make this again!

Red Skinned Potato Salad

Reviewed: May 15, 2012
Good Base Potato Salad. Did not have much flavor with the recipe as listed. So I Added 1 C. Sour Cream, 1 C. Hellmans, Added Bunch of Green Onion Chopped, Dried Dill, Mustard and Relish to taste. I also used turkey bacon extra crispy. In place of regular bacon. With those changes the recipe is flavorful and delicious.

Smothered Green Beans

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2012
Good & Tasty. Boil or Steam the beans to half way cooked to your liking. The first time around i used fresh green beans and let boil for about 5 minutes and it burnt my garlic and the beans were still not cooked. Next time i will steam my beans then add to the mixture and will add the garlic at the end.

Cheesy Potato Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2012
Great Recipe with a few mod's, used 2lbs of square southern style frozen hashbrowns. used both cans of soup, sauted the onion litely just so it woud not be crunchy in the dish. used 3 cups chedder. Also make sure you mix the potatos with the cheese mixture instead of just pouring it on top. I also Used Ritz crackers for topping, no butter. I also let the dish sit over night in the fridge and cooked the next day for dinner. Worked out perfectly!
