Heavenly Chocolate Mousse

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2012
AMAZING! This is the most decadant mousse ever! Definitly the best recipe! My husband requests this on a monthly basis. Make sure you follow the directions closely though. You must use a heat thermoter for the eggs to get it right. You can add a shot of espresso with the chocolate too and it's delicious. Use good chocolate it's the Key. I use Ghirardelli semi sweet.

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2012
Great Recipe, I would leave out the beer. I made it with the beer (miller lite) and i did not care for the taste after i added the beer. And we are Beer drinkers and love the taste of beer! Gives it a bitter taste. It's still good with the beer but i think it would be GREAT with the beer left out. I also used Bill echols taco seasoning from this website.

Ultimate Twice Baked Potatoes

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2012
These are AWESOME! I use dried chives instead of green onions. Also i microwave the potato then put in the oven for about 20 minutes. Make sure your potato is cooked threw before scooping out the filling. I blend with my mixxer to get smooth. Great side dish! My husband though i ordered them from a resturant and could not believe they were home made!

TOBLERONE-Topped Caramel Cheesecake

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2012
This was an OK recipe. If you dont have oreo baking crumbs. take about 1 row of oreo cookies and put them in your food processor. I used 2 tablespoons of Vanilla, and also added some of the carmel topping in the cheesecake mix. I think next time i will melt the candy bar and drizzle over the top of the cheesecake instead of using the chopped candy bar on top. I did not care for the texture of the candy on top. I also may add some hazlenut or caramel extract into the cheesecake mix. But the hubby did enjoy!

Janet's Rich Banana Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2012
Great Recipe! Moist and Delicious! Left out the Nuts, due to i am not a fan of nuts in bread. I Used 3 Banana's Mashed, Also used a little less then 1/2 c Sour Cream (Was running low!) And recipe still turned out perfect! I baked at 325* i was using a dark loaf pan, and the loaf only took about 45 minutes baking time to be at perfection!

Smothered Green Beans

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2012
Good & Tasty. Boil or Steam the beans to half way cooked to your liking. The first time around i used fresh green beans and let boil for about 5 minutes and it burnt my garlic and the beans were still not cooked. Next time i will steam my beans then add to the mixture and will add the garlic at the end.

Marinated Pork Chops

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2012
Very Good, Did make a few changes. Used 1/2 tsp. mustard seed instead of prepared mustard. Used balsamic vinger instead of regular (also used a little less then recipe calls for) For the 3/4 cup veg oil. I used half EVOO and Half Veg Oil/Canola Oil Blend. Added fresh pepper from the pepper mill on top before letting it marinade overnight. Grilled on low and slow. Pork chops turned out tasty and juicy!

Cheesy Potato Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2012
Great Recipe with a few mod's, used 2lbs of square southern style frozen hashbrowns. used both cans of soup, sauted the onion litely just so it woud not be crunchy in the dish. used 3 cups chedder. Also make sure you mix the potatos with the cheese mixture instead of just pouring it on top. I also Used Ritz crackers for topping, no butter. I also let the dish sit over night in the fridge and cooked the next day for dinner. Worked out perfectly!
