Refrigerate and add a little extra flour to be able to roll out the dough for shapes.

Spicy Chipotle Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2012
I was not fond of this recipe; however, my husband said they were good. I'm not a huge fan of cilantro, I can eat it in some things but not others. I did not care for the cilantro here. I also added two chipotle chiles because we like a lot of heat, unfortunately we didn't think the burgers were very spicy. Garlic powder was a little over powering, perhaps fresh garlic would've worked better. Great idea but not something I'll make again.

Curried Coconut Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2012
This is really good. I did tweak the recipe a bit because it wasn't spicy enough. I added Cayenne Pepper, Garam Masala and Ground Cloves. I also added Cubed Potatoes and decreased the Sugar to 2 tbs. Next time, I'll decrease the sugar to 1 tbs as I thought it was too sweet. I will also add in some frozen peas. I also used a can of light coconut milk. When it comes to curry sauces, this one is definitely the closest when it comes to the consistency that I prefer and it was one of the easiest Indian recipes that I've made. Definitely a keep and must try!

Key West Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2012
Very good! Quick and easy. I was concerned at first that it wouldn't be very flavorful. The lime or garlic didn't really come through for me but the sweet (honey) & soy sauce added good flavor.

Robbi's M&M Cookies

My step-son & I made these for Santa. Easy enough to make with kids & so much fun with the M & Ms. They were a huge hit and we couldn't help but sample a few before leaving some from Santa!

Great recipe but I ended up having to back this much longer than the recipe called for.

Slow-Cooked Chili

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2012
This was a good start but needs more kick. Next time I make this, I'll try adding more Chili Powder, some jalapeno and hot sauce.

This was too sweet in my opinion. Next time, I'll decrease the amount of sugar.

Fresh Cherry Crisp

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2012
This was good buy wasn't crispy. I think the oats soaked up too much of the liquid. I increased the amount of cherries based on prior reviews. Flavor was good but the texture wasn't what I was looking for.

Ultimate Twice Baked Potatoes

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2012
These were good but next time I'll make some adjustments. Less sour cream & instead of adding the milk all at once, I'll add it gradually to achieve my preferred consistency since I felt that the filling was a bit thin. Perhaps a little more salt.

Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2012
This was good. I omitted the ranch seasoning since some ppl aren't fond of ranch with their buffalo chicken and because some of the reviews said the recipe was overly salty. Instead, ppl can put ranch or blue cheese on their sandwich. I just drizzled a little Franks Buffalo sauce on mine. Simple, easy & tastes good! Can't beat it!

Stuffed Peppers with Turkey and Vegetables

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2012
Loved this recipe. My husband was hesitant to try it, said it wouldn't be filling...no issues with still being hungry after dinner though. Instead of cutting the tops off of the peppers, I cut them in half (ensuring to also cut the stem in half), this makes for a much prettier presentation. I also baked them for 20 minutes instead of 15. When I pulled them out of the oven, I heard my husband say, "Huh". It was quite the compliment. After tasting them, he smiled and said they were really good. Asked me later if I was going to keep the left over pepper so he could have it tomorrow for lunch. Next time I make this, I think I'll add some crushed red pepper to the mix for a little kick. I won't change anything else though. Wasn't dry and loved the mix of veggies (instead of the traditional rice). I did cut this recipe in half since it was just the two of us.
