Made this with the Pilsbury French loaf and it was great! Only took 20 minutes at 375.

Baked Brunch Omelet

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2013
My family really liked this casserole. I used potato bread on the bottom, wheat bread in the middle, added asparagus, used half as much cheese, added an extra egg and didn't cook in a water bath. I didn't cube the bread, just put 4 slices in the bottom and 4 in the middle. It was a little moist, but it didn't bother anyone. Maybe I'll use a little less milk next time.

Slow Cooker Ham

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2013
This was easy, cheap and delicious. I made several meals out of it. I cooked as suggested, but cooked on simmer for the 8 hours because my crockpot runs hot. Also, it's important to use a picnic ham and not a precooked ham like many people seem to have used.

Boilermaker Tailgate Chili

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2013
I made this exactly as suggested and froze half for another day. My family loved this, but didn't find it overly spicy. In the future, I would probably add more spice and more worcestershire sauce. It was very good though.

Broccoli with Garlic Butter and Cashews

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2013
My family and I really enjoyed this recipe. I did make a little extra sauce and reduce it more than the recipe said so that it would stick to the broccoli a little better. And I forgot to add the cashews, so I can't attest to that ingredient, but this is a definite keeper in my house.

Sarah's Applesauce

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2013
This was my first attempt and homemade apple sauce. It was very easy and VERY tasty. I had a hard time waiting for dinner to eat it. Actually, I had a hard time trying to convince myself that licking my submersion blender blade is a bad idea. I added more cinnamon as a personal preference, but otherwise made exactly as written. This is the kind of recipe I will double or triple in the future.

Spicy Mac and Cheese Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2013
I made this recipe as written at first (with the exception of adding a beans for protein) and it was way too garlicky. I usually like garlic, but it was too much. So I added a can of cream of chicken soup (cream of cheese would have been better, but I didn't have any). Then it wasn't spicy anymore so I added a little hot sauce. I may make this again out of necessity, but it's not something is plan out making.

Brown Sugar Bacon Waffles

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2013
These were good and my family enjoyed them. I only wish they had more of a bacon flavor. The inly change I made was to add the bacon grease to the oil. In the future, I would use more bacon. Can there ever be too much bacon anyway?

Spaghetti with Bacon

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2013
It was a good base recipe. I made a few changes. I cooked the bacon (with no added oil) with a chopped onion in a skillet, boiled the spaghetti with salt (you should always do this, but precious reviewers mentioned they didn't because they weren't told to), tossed cooked spaghetti with bacon onion mixture, added diced tomatoes and then added a small amount of basil infused evoo (maybe a few tablespoons, way less than 1/4 cup). And then some fresh spices, salt & pepper to taste. It was a nice, easy, cheap comfort meal served with a simple salad. I would probably make it again should the urge to eat bacon pasta arise again.
