Recently I have stumbled upon a new found love of cooking. It makes me feel alive and powerful!! Being able to really cook for yourself and family is a great thing! I never realized how much people opt to eat out these days (doesn't matter the reason) instead of eating a good home cooked meal. I know sometimes it is just seems easier, believe you me I have 3 beautiful girls ages 4,2, &1 so I know all about time constraints. Lol, but by making a few changes and really prioritizing cooking instead of grabbing fast food I have found the time! It is just healthier, I control my families diet and can ensure they get all the nutrients they need. Diet plays such a huge role in overall health and wellness, so I decided to take control! (Not saying we don't grab somethings out occasionally, not trying to sound perfect). Also I would like to share how much I Love Allrecipes!!! It is awesome having access to so many recipes from all over the world. I like trying any recipe that catches my eye, I love food and do not discriminate on any cuisine! I haven't posted any of my own recipes yet, I will be adding some soon!! Be back soon to share more of my adventures in cooking!

Welcome to the Blogosphere! One of the reasons I think people eat a lot of fast food, is that it can be quite cheap. Unless you're a really good shopper, real food can be costly! And, frankly, I really do love a Quarter Pounder with Cheese every so often.

i agree with everything you said. i do all the cooking here. i rarely ever mind, but when i do, i'll grab some great bar b que or frid chicken. i never fry anything it's a treat. i love finding weird sounding ingredients in a recipe posted and duplicate it. great unusual finds are here. chime in on the recipe can ask anything there about cooking or other questions and always remember to go back and check the answers because you will have plenty of good advice.

Thank you, as u can see it has been a while since i have checked my blog, lol. I completely agree, fast food is so much cheaper!! It's a real shame that food that is healthier for you is so much more expensive! I do like a good hamburger myself!
