Corned Beef and Cabbage

I used this as a base for cooking my corned beef. I used the entire spice pkg instead of using the bay leaf/sugar/vinegar. Came out good. Cooked in slow-cooker for 6 hours on low.

Restaurant-Quality Maple Oatmeal Scones

Thought these tasted ever better the day after. Used Truvia for the tops to sweeten, and substituted 1 of the cups of flour for whole wheat. Also used Sugar-free syrup. Yummy! :)

Cherry Chicken Salad

Scrumptious is right! We slow-cooked our chicken 8 hours, and used this recipe to make chicken salad. Used pink lady apples and green onions (no celery) and left out the buttermilk. Delicious! Made 4 sandwiches and used them in letttuce wraps.

Cake Balls

This recipe is not for beginners. It takes quite a bit of time to figure out what works best to get the right results. Came out great, once we figured it out and they are delicious! We colored our cake batter to make it more festive for Thanksgiving.

Roquefort Pear Salad

FANTASTIC!! I love the flavors in this salad. I used Dijon mustard, and Truvia instead of sugar. Also added store bought glazed pecans, since I already had them. Only used about 2 oz of the blue cheese. Thought 5 was too much. Also left out garlic as I didn't want to crunch into it raw. Try throwing in some dried cranberries! Delicious! :)

Key Lime Pie VII

I used only one can of sweetened condensed milk & "Light" sour cream. Lime juice was from concentrate. Didn't use the lime zest. Came out perfect!!!
