Winter Energy Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2010
I'm not sure how on Gods green earth these turned out as I only put 3/4 cup butter a spoonful of applesauce, 1 cup dark brwon sugar, few huge scoops of peanut butter, no raisins, double carob chips and I never toasted the wheat germ. Next time I think I will add more peanut butter and try some banana's and skip the molasses altogether.I cooked mine 12 min and they were plenty done and used a ice cream scoop to make my mounds. My daughter thought these were "good kiki's mama" As always thanks for sharing.

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2010
This recipe holds up its end of the bargain and delivers tender delicious pork. I used calorie wise BBQ sauce and it was good. Next time I'll make homemade BBQ sauce. Thanx for sharing Livie's Mammy.

Creamy Rice Pudding

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2010
This was DELICIOUS! I used short grain rice, skim milk, and Splenda although next time I will put a little extra Splenda in then the footnote says 1/3 of 1/3cup just wasn't enough. This produced thick and creamy goodness which my hubby and 20 month old daughter LOVED. One note, add a little of the hot rice mixture to the beaten egg before adding the egg to prevent cooking it. Hit the road Kozy Shack! Thanx Erica G:)

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2010
These turned out good:) I never had any fresh blueberries so I used frozen and I also added the smallest splash of lemon extract. I cant believe I'm writing this but I'm going to make these again and skip the topping (cut the calories) and also try brown sugar rather than white. Thanx so much for sharing

Chunky Tomato Potato Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2010
I really wanted to fall in love with this soup but for some unknown reason it never reached my expectations. My hubby and 20 month old daughter ate it but there were no compliments that came my way. I don't think I will make this again. Thanx for sharing cloudless

Banana Crumb Muffins

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2010
These muffins turned out pretty good as they were moist with a nice subtle banana flavor. I can only give this recipe 4 stars as I think its missing some spice. I also would def add chocolate chips or nuts. I will try this again and see what I get. thanx for sharing

Jo-Ann's Power Bars

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2010
I like all the reviewers LOVE this recipe. I really like that fact that you can make it your own and cut calories down and it still is fabulous. I used applesauce in place of oil, I TBSP Splenda brown sugar, crasins, and chopped almonds. These are plenty good. I can't wait to add banana's and peanut butter and see what I get. Thanx for such a great recipe this will be the "famous" power bar recipe my 20 month old daughter one day will call me from university asking for:)

Cranberry Chicken I

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2010
I hate to give bad reviews but this one some how never impressed me. I also agree with some other reviewers that the onion soup flavor is to strong, I would def half the amount next time. I was expecting this to be a sticky kind of chicken dish. That being said it is very easy and the chicken was very tender as I marinaded mine for about 20 hrs. Maybe thats why it never turned out? I won't be making this again although I do encourage others to try just cut-back on the onion soup

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2010
This is a yummy healthier snack. I would def cut back on the sugar next time.I also used whole wheat WW tortillas and they worked great. Remember sugar draws liquid out of fruit so I wouldn't reccomend using frozen berries. Thanx for sharing ;)

White and Wild Rice Pilaf

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2010
Like some others I think this is a very very bland dish. I even added extra garlic salt and pepper and it was still bland. If you are not one to experiment with flavora and diff herbs and spices to give it flavor this is not for you. Although if you are looking for a rice dish to possibly put a sauce on or something of that kind this is it. Oh yes and I wouldn't reccommend dobling this recipe as this makes a ton. I will check back to see what others came up with with regards to brining this dish more flavor. Thanx for the recipe

Juicy Roasted Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2010
I also looked at this recipe and thought "whats the big deal" but it turned out very flavorful and def a keeper. I made a brine and soaked the chicken in it for a few hours and then followed the recipe as written. I also stuffed the cavity with half a quarter onion. This came out tender and moist and oh so good. Def try this one but do make a brine to soak the bird. Thanx for sharing.

Hot Artichoke and Spinach Dip II

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2009
I made this dip for a friends baby shower and everyone enjoyed it. I never had fresh grated parmesan cheese or Romano so I just used the reg kraft parmesan and mozzrella cheese. I think it would have been fabulous had I had the proper ingredients. Will try again. Thanx

Chicken Noodle Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2009
This was one of those recipe's that while in the process of putting together I thought was in no way going to be good. Surprisingly it was a very delicious dish. The only problem I had was I never added enough chicken and pasta so it was a little runny. My 17 month old daughter loved it and ate a whole bowl of it. I think this would also make a great chicken pot pie filling minus the pasta. Thanx for sharing

Mimi's Giant Whole-Wheat Banana-Strawberry Muffins

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2009
I LOVE this recipe!!! I took others advice and added tsp allspice, made mine with all applesauce to replace the oil,Splenda Brown Sugar blend, and with egg whites. I made mine into a banana bread and omitted the strawberries another reviewer said she cooked hers for 50 minutes be careful with the temp/time mine were only in about 40 minutes and I almost burnt it. SOOOOO GOOOOOD! Thanx for sharing such a great recipe.

Hasty Chocolate Pudding

Reviewed: May 20, 2009
Mmm mmm GOOD!!! This is actually quicker than instant in my opinion as you don't have to get out the ol hand mixer or injure your arm mixing away by hand. I used Splenda and skim milk and it turned out great. As others have said this is a dark chocolate flavor if your looking for sweet than this probably isn't the recipe for you. Thanx so much the recipe.

Szechuan Beef

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2009
I really hate giving bad reviews because someone out there thought it is a wonderful recipe and wanted to share it with the world. But this recipe is very very bland. I ended up adding bottled stir fry sauce to try and save it. Thanx for the recipe but I guess this dish just isn't for me.
