I am Married for 35 years, and having a great partiner allows me to do my work. I work as a petrolum and construction consultant in Africa, Burundi and Rwanda.
We live in a small village in the eastern Freestate of South Africa. This area is in the foothills of the Drakensburg, which is the Alpes of SA.
Our climate is hot in summer and drops to -16C in winter, even sonw at time.
I have 4 great children 3 married and one still singel. She is a profecional photgrapher. We also have 9 gard children
My hobbies are, cooking, gardening, collecting cook books, Dinkey die metal cars,and fishing.
I love playing with food. Cooking to me is an art of choice. One can change the picture if you do not like the contents or results.
My good lady dose a lot of fruit jams and canning of fruit. We experiment by using fructose instead of sugar. We are both type 2 diabetics.

Beef pressed toung, I am now maiking my own toung and brisket meat press.
Roasting mutton scholder and mutton ribs in the oven or on my home made weaber. Cooking pork shanks and making small home made hams.
My wife is the caanning lady, uses sucroes insted of sugar, due to us been type 2 diabetics.
Veatable I like to cook in an old fasioned way. ie onions pototos and sliced green beans and a dash of fatty lamb. Fried rice. I also enjoy barbequeing fish and prawns. I love to use cast iorn pots. We also have a wood stove so in winter cooking stews and soups on the old stove and having a drink in front of the fire is just warm and so great.Our children always say Dad knows how to make good POT LUK

I like to cook for family functions,Roast Brisket, lam sholder, home made ham and some roast chicken.

Making a perfect pickeld ham and serving it to my family. Making Surf and turf filet of beef.

I have a known factor of burning the food. Especially when we have friends for dinner
