Ribs with Plum Sauce

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2009
Not a bad flavor but wasn't thick enough to coat the ribs.

Chicken and Red Wine Sauce

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2008
Really good! I did mine in the slow cooker: I used about a cup and a half of red wine, about 1/3 cup of brown sugar, garlic powder, salt and pepper. I mixed it up and added the chicken, then cooked on low for two and a half hours. Incredibly moist and great flavor!

Jalapeno Chicken II

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2008
Very tasty. I used chicken breasts pounded thin, then stuffed a whole jalepeno with cream chese and rolled the hicken around it. I wrapped each in two slices of bacon, which held it all together nicely, and cooked for 30 min at 400. Next time, I think I'll try adding some cheddar cheese and then making a cream sauce to go over it. The chicken was sooo moist and the bacon really added to the flavor.

Pineapple Sheet Cake II

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2008
A very interesting cake - mine turned out fluffy and sticky, a little chewy. The top did get brown, but not excessively so. The inside was a nice golden yellow. The flavor was good, it had some nice pieces of pineapple but wasn't too sweet. I cooked mine for 15 min at 350 but turned the temp down to 325 when I saw the top starting to brown. I then cooked it for another 16 or 17 minutes until the inside was done. Very, very easy.

It was ok but I thought the soy sauce flavor was overpowering.

Chunky Cheesecake Brownies

Reviewed: May 23, 2008
Wow chocolate overload! Very good and extremely chocolatey. The cream cheese flavor is a bit over powered by the chocolate, but it is moist and gooey and delicious.

Caramelized Baked Chicken

Reviewed: May 22, 2008
Sweet, tangy and wonderful! I made some changes as well based on other reviews. I used ketchup, honey, a mixture of soy sauce and worcestershire, garlic powder, and a dash of hot sauce. I boiled it on the stove top first, then poured it over boneless chicken breasts and cooked for 35 min. Very tasty!!

Thin Mint Crackers

Reviewed: May 22, 2008
I used Famous chocolate wafers and Andes chocolate mints. The mints melted so easily over a double boiler to make a smooth chocolate sauce. I used two forks to dip each chocolate wafer which made it easier for the chocolate to drain off. They came out perfectly! Yum!

Chocolate Covered Strawberries

Reviewed: May 19, 2008
The strawberries came out great. It was very easy to do. However, I had problems storing them overnight. I read that you should refrigerate them but then I read that you shouldn't refrigerate them. So I didn't and they leaked on the bottom. They still tasted great but didn't look very good. I guess I'll try refrigerating them next time.

A little too salty, I'll halve the amount of salt next time. Otherwise, very good flavor, will make again!

Famous Chicken Adobo

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2008
Very tasty although the vinegar is very strong smelling when cooking. I added cornstarch to thicken the sauce and served with brown rice. Needs some veggies though, I will try adding steamed broccoli at the end. Will make again.

Baked Chicken with Mushroom Gravy

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2008
It was ok. The chicken was cooked well, but the "gravy" turned the wonderful crispy skin soggy. Too cheesy for me, started congealing on my plate as it cooled down.

A little weird but good. Will probably make again. I'll cut back on the butter and oil though to make it a little healthier.
