Pork Chops and Sauerkraut

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2011
This was very good. I did it as instructed and it came out tasting very good! It's not something I want to have all the time, but this is a nice meal to make every once and a while. Thanks!

Stuffy

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2010
This is a slammin' sub. I know it's been mentioned, but we first had this at Capriotti's. The Bobbie is AWESOME!!! We've been making our own "Bobbie's" for the past 2 weeks leading up to Thanksgiving, and now with more leftovers...we will be making more. Definitely must try this sub!

Mom's Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2010
This was good, but I don't know about 5 stars good. Maybe my expectations were too high, but it tasted like something was missing. I can't put my finger on it though. Texture is good, enjoyable to eat, but I may or may not make this again. Thanks for the recipe though! I thoroughly enjoyed making it.

Very good. Made this recipe with no alterations. Very good stuff. Will be making again...and again...and again!! Thankfully, we have a peach tree in our front yard! Woohoo!

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2010
I really liked this, but like others, I altered it. BUT I'm rating the recipe on the batch I didn't alter. It was soooo sweet! It was a bit too much, but good! The chips were good, and I really liked the pairing. The dish was addicting, even if it was too sweet. The batches I made were with Orange Marmalade, which was good, and apricot preserves. I think I liked the apricot better. I realized I enjoyed the pairing of fruit, and the texture of the small chopped up pieces. So after the first to with the preserves, I just did fruit. Didn't add anything to it. It was soooo much better. So if you don't have a huge sweet tooth, and don't want all the sweetness, just don't add the preserves. Thank you for the recipe!!! I've made it many times, many different ways!

Really good. Added vanilla, didn't put in the butter. Really fluffy, light, and very tasty. I think I found my go to recipe for pancakes. Thanks so much!

Tasty Lentil Tacos

The only problem with this recipe is there isn't enough! So good. I bought tons of lentils, so this will be in the house for a while.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2010
Excellent! Soooo goood! Not a soup fan, but loved this. I won't add as much pepper next time, but other than that...still darn good. 5 stars good. I didn't add celery because I don't like it, but it was still great!

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2010
This was by far the best cheesecake that I've ever made. It cracked, but I didn't care. Who cares, when it tastes sooo good! I did everything by the book and it cracked, but I will try a few tricks. I didn't have time to read everyone's reviews before making it, so I will try the tips given. Definitely wait to eat it. It tastes sooo much better the next day. Texture is perfect, tastes yummy, soo good! Thanks!

Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2009
These were okay. Maybe I did something wrong. I did double the batch, but I wasn't really digging these. They were super easy and I really appreciate that. Just an okay cookie, in my opinion.

Pasta Con Broccoli

Made this tonight. It was okay. I used half and half (fat free) so I may try it again with the real cream next time...but I doubt I'll make it again.

Best Buttercream Frosting

Reviewed: May 5, 2009
I saw a similar recipe that I had made 1 week prior to trying this one. After reading the reviews I wanted to give another go at it. It came out SOOOO much better than the first attempt. Thanks for all the advice! Great recipe. Gonna make this one a lot! I just beat the heck out of the butter and then added the sugar gradually. I stirred the flour/milk mixture like crazy so there was no lumping (best to add flour and milk before heating up and mixing so there are no lumps to start with). I just really whipped this sucker and it paid off. I may have whipped it too much but it was still great! Thanks!

Best Spinach Dip Ever

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2008
My cousin gave me this recipe and I love it! She doesn't remember where she got it from, but it's this recipe almost to the T. The only thing different is her recipe only uses 1 cup of sour cream. That's the only difference. It's always the first thing to go at a party. I love it! Yum!

Carrot Burgers

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2008
So right now I'm going to give this a 4. I may have to change it to a 5 when I try it again...I hope so! I didn't have celery so I just took it out, which I have a feeling was a big mistake. I'm not a big celery fan though, so we'll see. I also only had Kellogg's crumbs. They were really good, but missing something. I'm not sure if the celery taste, for me, will make it a 5. I bought it anyway though, and real corn flakes, this time. Will make again soon!

Very good! I will make these again! I followed a bunch of different suggestions. I'm glad I found an alternative to the store bought veggie burgers. Those get waaay pricey! Thanks so much!!

Chocolate Trifle

I added strawberries to this and OH BOY! It was fantastic. I don't think I would have liked it as much without the strawberries though. I also used whipping cream....soooo good! This is definitely for chocolate lovers!

Yum-Yum Corn

Reviewed: May 23, 2008
I didn't change anything about this recipe. It came out pretty darn good. The first time I made it I had great reviews. I only had a bit and I liked it a lot. The second time I did it, I doubled the batch. For some reason it wasn't as good. It was still tasty though. I will make this again.

Alyson's Broccoli Salad

Reviewed: May 23, 2008
Let me say, I don't like broccoli. A few months ago my in-laws brought over some broccoli salad. I was soooo hungry one day I had some. I tolerated it. So I thought I'd test out my taste buds again with this recipe. LOVED IT! I'm a vegetarian, so I omitted the bacon. I thought about imitation bacon bits but haven't tried it yet. I also used red grapes instead of raisins, as suggested! YUM!
