Beef Tips and Noodles

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2003
Good quick and easy recipe but much better by substituting wine or sherry for the water and adding 1/4 to 1/2 cup of sour cream.

Hungarian Goulash II

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2006
This came out fantastic! I didn't change a thing. I'm so glad it makes plenty of sauce. I served it over no yolk noodles and will definately add it to my recipe rotation!

Chicken Vicious

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2006
OK, I made this exactly as written. It is fabulous and I'll be making it all the time! I totally agree with your comments tocoyote! If the ingredients are too much for some, for Gods sake why would you make it? My husband is Asian and is quite familiar with the combination and absolutely loved it! It's not too sweet or too hot! Love it!!! Thanks for a great recipe!

Swedish Tea Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2006
These were so good. I understand what the other reviewer was saying, but these are tea cookies so they should not be too sweet. We really loved them!

Quick Cantonese Sauce

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2008
This is really good! I omit the tomatoes and use it with broccoli, red peppers, onions, and stir fry noodles. I add lots of fresh garlic cloves. We love it! Thanks!

Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2008
This is perfect alfredo sauce. It is supposed to be a simple dish and stands on it's own with quality ingredients. I have made it several times and tonight I added some gorgonzola, fresh spinach and diced plum tomatoes. Soooo good!

Autumn Cheesecake

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2008
This is an amazing cheesecake! I'm very particular and cook and bake often but my old recipe of 14 years has just been replaced! This came out p-e-r-f-e-c-t. I only had 2 apples and it was still amazing. The apples cooked exactly as I had hoped, soft but not at all mushy. I used a corer and then sliced them length wise three times. It has just the right amount of sweetness, spice, cheesecake flavor and the apples were a perfect compliment. All the flavors work so well together. Other than being short on apples I didn't change a thing and am so glad I didn't. I personally wouldn't want it any thicker. It looks very professional and wow what a dessert for the holiday. I love this cheesecake!

Apple Crumb Pie

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2009
This is my favorite pie recipe. It comes out perfect as is (minus nuts and raisins). I use MacIntosh apples for the best flavor and home made crust. It's worth the little extra effort. Fabulous!

Banana Rum Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2010
This is crazy good! I made it exactly as written as a layer cake. I had the perfect amount of frosting for the middle and top of the cake and that's just the right amount to compliment this cake. The rum taste mellows overnight but if you don't like a lot of rum just omit it in the frosting. This is SO GOOD I wouldn't change a thing! I'll be making this all the time!
