Slow Cooker Pulled Pork
I got a big chunk of pork shoulder since it's a bit cheaper, used about 4 lbs, one bottle of rootbeer and some Sweet Baby Ray's (I forget which variety and I'm not at home now to check). We made this to have for a game night with friends and everyone loved it & were so surprised at how easy it was!!

Moo Goo Gai Pan II
It came out a little dry. I even doubled the sauce and it still wasn't as much as normal Chinese take out. Suggest at least doubling if not tripling the sauce. Suggest using a zester or something on the ginger. Tried to do it with a knife and couldn't get it fine enough. Ended up having some very gingery bites. I did the brown sauce by using soy sauce instead of the white wine, plus adding a dash of sherry. The flavor was good.

Black Bean Vegetable Soup
We loved this soup!! Followed the recipe almost to a T except for - used 2 cloves of garlic, almost a full tablespoon of chili powder and mexi-corn instead of regular. I love finding a quick, easy to make soup!! Plus it has a lot of flavor without having a ton of calories & fat :D
