Coconut Cream Pie IV

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2005
My husband said this was the best coconut pie he has ever tasted. The pie turned out so pretty- the only thing is I use the "never fail meringue" on this site (its the best). I will definately make this over and over again.

Grandma's Lemon Meringue Pie

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2005
great pie- I fixed it per the recipe and it was too tart, so after reading the reviews I used milk instead of water and measured the lemon juice to just over 1/4 cup per pie and it turned out great- great recipe just needed some tweeking.

Bill Clinton's Lemon Chess Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2004
This pie was excellent- I made both this pie and the "lemon chess pie I" at the same time and this pie was tops! I did add some lemon zest and used evaporated milk for a little more creaminess. Got rave reviews.

Lemon Chess Pie I

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2004
This pie was good but turned out a little "gritty" and was not as creamy as I would have liked- I did substitute evaporated milk for regular milk. Not as good as the "Bill Clinton Lemon Chess Pie" as I made both to find the best recipe.

All-Day Apple Butter

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2004
I have made several batches of this apple butter and it gets rave reviews every time.My mother said as soon as she tasted this she threw her other jars of apple butter out. The only thing I did different from the recipe is that I used several types of apples from very sweet to granny smith.
