Too Much Chocolate Cake

Very good cake. I normally don't liked "doctered" cake mix recipes, but this one is very good. Awesome? Not quite. But still very good.

Tropical Salad with Pineapple Vinaigrette

Very good, but I did change the recipe quite a bit. I reduced the oil to 2 teaspoons, and the vinegar to 2 tablespoons, and added 2 tablespoons of coconut milk, and increased the pineapple juice to 1/2 cup. It was less tangy, and more creamy

Baked French Fries II

Very good. The parmesan cheese in particular gives it a great flavor. This recipe is better than most baked "fries" recipes I have tried.

Chicken Stir-Fry

As is, the recipe is alright. With some minor changes, it was awesome. I added fresh garlic and ginger, 1 tablespoon of brown sugar, and I topped it with cilantro, green onions, and peanuts. At that point, it's almost a different recipe, but my husband loved it.

Cheesy Potatoes II

As is, the recipe is pretty good. Now, add in a small amt of chopped onion and use shredded cheddar on top, as well as a little mixed in with the potatoes, and the recipe is off-the-charts good. I make this (with my changes) every holiday and it is always the most complimented side dish,

Best Bread Machine Bread

Very good recipe. Easy to follow and hard to mess-up. I've made this recipe about 40 times and it has always turned out well. I've even substituted half the flour for white whole wheat flour and it still turns out very good (just add a couple of teaspoons of vital wheat gluten to help the whole wheat rise). I know someone wrote that they had good results substituting the flour with all whole wheat. I've had poor results trying to use all whole wheat with this recipe. I bake often with whole grains, so I'm familiar with it, and I would not recommend using all whole wheat flour. You can usually get away substituting about 50% with almost any recipe.
