Me & my gang
About this Cook
41 and married w/no kids but a neice and nephew I love to cook with.
My favorite things to cook
I really like trying new things. I just found sundried tomatoes. YUMMY in couscous w/grilled veggies, balsamic vinegar and olive oil.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I used to bake pies with my grandma when I was three. I still make a mean pie.
My cooking triumphs
Everybody just loves my potatoe soup. I start with ham hocks to cook my potatoes in then I add smoked sausage and sauted onions and carrots and half and half. Not for the dieters huh?
My cooking tragedies
My dad teased me about my teenage years when I just couldn't make the Dream pie recipe work. I tried three times and forgot something each time.

Chocolate-Cran-Oat Cookies
I used all white chocolate chips and these were awesome. Not some wimpy little cookie. The oatmeal really makes them hearty, the cranberries adds twang, and the chips add creamy richness
