Tomato Gorgonzola Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2010
Very interesting and delicious but RICH! I used Rotelle tomatoes which gave it a nice kick, fresh basil and left it chunky. Thanks for a great recipe Jess!

Easy Baked Ham

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2009
We served this as a holiday meal and really liked the overall flavor that the ginger ale, pineapple an brown sugar(I cut back a little) provided. I also liked the fact that I could trim the fat prior cooking---- quite delicious actually!

Chicken Tetrazzini IV

I loved this recipe and here are the changes I made: I used leftover chicken, added jar style roasted red peppers for color, and panko crumbs on top in addition to the parmesan cheese.

One of, if not the best pesto recipe I have ever tried-- just a GREAT combination of flavors. I left out the artichoke hearts but will definitely add them next time. I will be making this one again soon -- thanks!

Tuscan Soup

I really liked this and decided to add some ground anise for italian zip-- ground fennel or actual fennel bulb would be a nice addition if no anise.. Thanks for the great recipe-- I beleive actually a version of italian wedding soup.

Moroccan-Style Stuffed Acorn Squash

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2008
What a delicious meatless and healthfull recipe! I substituted bulghar wheat for couscous as I was out of couscous-- great still! I believe this recipe could be altered with different beans( even green peas), different veggies and still shine--thanks for sharing!

Crispy Potato Wedges

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2008
Great -- more like oven fries than wedges because of the small size-- I think size is the key to crispiness though and these are nice and crispy! I did use peanut oil. Thanks for a great recipe!

White Chocolate, Chocolate Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2008
I liked the chocolaty flavor of these alot but I was not crazy about the texture-- let's just say I have had better and I doubt that I will make these again. Just for the record I added vanilla and chopped macadamia nuts.

Caribbean Crab Souffle

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2008
This would have been a great recipe if it weren't for the coconut-- to me it did not belong-- the souffle itself was exceptional - next time I would add scalliion with the celery and maybe a littleshredded gouda instead of the hard coconut. Thanks.

Delicious---- I used a package of Good seasons powdered dressing for seasoning instead of salts as that is what I had on hand-- great recipe!

Potato Leek Soup I

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2007
I felt this was too starchy . Next time I would discard the potato cooking water and add broth. Cooking the potatoes and using the water just made it too slimy. aMaybe it was the type potato I used however(russet). Disappointing.
