Irish Potato Candy

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2012
Wow,this stuff is rich! Very sweet. I had so much fun making it. I read many reviews before I did and I decided after taste testing a bit that rolling them in cinnamon, cocoa, and powdered sugar was best. It was quite sticky until I popped it in the fridge, much easier to handle after that! I am definitely making this again in the next couple of weeks and handing them out for St. Patrick's Day :)

Lemon Cream Cupcakes

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2012
These were exceptional cupcakes,I did not change the recipe. A smidge of yellow food dye in the icing, that's it. Just absolutely delicious. A bit of work, but oh so worth it in the end. The frosting was super rich and didn't really "stay put",slightly runny, but so yum. And it looked so pretty on the cupcakes anyway!

Fluffy Biscuits

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2012
I hate to say that I was kind of disappointed in this recipe. I made it a few times, really wanting a flaky, tasteful biscuit. But every time they came out "dense",and the flavor was left wanting. I followed the recipe to the exact word and the last time I finally used buttermilk-same results each time. They still looked pretty, just really not what I read from all the other reviews. I used all shortening as the recipe called for and not butter as I am usually accustomed to using. Maybe that was what was missing? I submitted a picture anyway, because like I said they did look pretty to me.

Creamy Chicken Bake

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2012
This recipe was great, the chicken turned out very tender. I did not use the broccoli soup, instead I used cream of mushroom and added fresh broccoli-I was pleased :) I had some homemade salad croutons and I crumbled them on top in place of the plain bread crumbs. I did use the parm cheese, but I had a small hunk of gruyere cheese left over from another recipe and I used that as well. This was a very rich and hearty meal!

The Best Banana Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2012
I was truly impressed with this super simple recipe! We have made it several times,it's just delicious. My mom still does believe that I do not use any wet ingredients,it is so moist and flavorful! We don't really measure the bananna's-just 3 or 4. THANK YOU for sharing this wonderful recipe!

Yummy Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2012
These are so yummy and easy! I did not use the almond extract, but they were perfect. I also just wanted to say that the second time we made them we covered the dough and kept it in the fridge for 2 days, and they still came out de-lish. I definately recommend chilling the dough before you work with it because they will come out on the thin side if you don't. We also made a half batch where we did not press the cookies with a fork and they cooked just as good, chewy but the edges did not crisp-and I prefer them that way! Thank you so much for such an easy, great tasting recipe!
