I made these cookies exactly as the recipe stated except for two things. 1.) I doubled it and 2.) I used less chocolate chips. A double recipe would have meant 4 cups of chips, but as I was dumping in the 3rd cup I thought it was too much. So I ended up with about 2 1/2 cups for a double batch. This will be my go-to recipe. I had been using the Butter Crisco Chocolate Chip recipe for the last 10 years, but wanted to get back to using real butter. Mine baked for exactly 16 minutes and I followed the reviews saying they won't look "done" but have faith! Cooled them on the cookie sheets for 8 minutes. And moved them to cooling racks. PERFECTION.
