Oma's Cottage Cheesecake

Absolutely amazing! Everyone loved it! I followed the suggestions and omitted the milk. It still took longer than 60 minutes to bake but it was so very worth it! Much cheaper to make and packed with protein. Next time I think I will make this crustless just to cut the calories and fat even more. THANK YOU so much for this recipe!!!

Wish I could give this 10 stars it was so good. Don't be afraid to mess with it a little to get it just perfect for you. I have made it many times and changed things just slightly several times. It wonderful as is, but I like making it mine.

I agree with the other reviews, I amped up the spices, added brown sugar and doubled the pumpkin and it was divine. I also used evaporated milk in place of the cream to cut fat and calories.

Broccoli Potato Bake

I thought this was ok, but kind of bland. I did add onions, garlic and extra cheese. I also seasoned it with about 1/2 a packet of ranch seasoning. Everyone else seemed to like it so I gave it 4 stars, but to me it was bland.

Butternut Squash Soup

This was fabulous! Also roasted squash and used 1/2 the cream cheese (used fat free). Made for a vegetarian friend so omitted the chicken stuff for water, Mrs. Dash and extra spices. Couldn't find the marjoram in my spice cabinet so used italian seasonings instead. Used a whole onion sauted in butter and crushed a few garlic cloves too. Added a bit of salt at the end. I will be making this all winter!!

Spanakopita (Greek Spinach Pie)

I followed some of the other reviews and used a lot more phyllo on the top and bottom. I also added a little nutmeg and some salt and pepper. But I realized as I was eating it, that I forgot the parsley. It's ok, everyone still loved it! Thanks for the great recipe.
