Spicy and Creamy Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2013
I thought it wasn't very good... I followed the directions except I used Hungarian hot paprika for the red pepper flakes since I didn't have. The chicken had flavor but it was missing something and, for me, it was bordering on salty. There was barely enough sauce and it wasn't even creamy. After it was done I ended up adding about a cup of sour cream but that really didn't help so now I'm left with this big tupperware of mess that I don't want to waste but I don't think anyone will eat it.

Grandma Bellows' Lemony Shrimp Macaroni Salad with Herbs

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2012
I could eat this salad everyday. I made this for 4th of July. I love anything that's lemony so I figured I'd try. Although I omitted the celery cause I hats that crunchiness in a soft salad but I replaced it with celery salt. And I did end up using much more Mayo.. I used the olive oil Mayo. I didn't care for the canned shrimp next time I will try fresh or leave it out all together... it didn't even need it with the lemon dill and celery salt flavor...

Lemon Cream Pasta with Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2012
Really I'd give this recipe 3 and a half stars. I think it was good and quick... I did make it though with the shredded canned chicken breasted which I cooked separately. I felt it needed something so I added a little celery salt and dried dill I thought that made the flavor explode...

Guinataan Hito (Catfish)

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2012
Oh my this was yummy... I was looking for something different and love catfish but have only ever had it fried. I made this one but made it spicy how I like by adding to jalapenos. Seeds, ribs, and all. It was even great the next day... I had ran out of rice and used drained ramen noodles ..... that was even better than with the rice.

Yakisoba Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2012
This came out really good... I was lazy and used a bag of coleslaw mix for the cabbage and carrots and I couldn't find Yaki soba noodles so I used udon noodles.. I served it with rice on the side to cut any spiciness - I make a pot of rice for everything though. Overall the fam really liked it. Even my 81 year old grandma who rarely ventures into the realm of food from a foreign land....

German Lasagna

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2012
This recipe was delicious I was looking for something different to try... I did make some slight changes first I used no boil lasagna noodles which worked out cause I didn't have to drain the sauerkruat completely which is a pain for me, I also added salt pepper and garlic powder to the soup mixture, and I used Swiss cheese and a skinless kielbasa. It came out beautifully. Also I didn't see the need to break out the blender to mix the soups and milk, I just used a whisk. I will make this one again but next time ill use more kraut...

Chicken Parmigiana

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2012
This recipe was amazing. The only changes I made were pounding out the chicken. I used a mix of salt garlic powder and pepper to season the chicken. And I mixed in some milk to the beaten egg. I also topped it with fresh mozzerella. The fam loved it... I'll be making this one again
