Candied Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: May 17, 2013
I thought this was really good. I made just a few small changes....I didn't use bread crumbs, just floured the chicken lightly. I also omitted the oregano and left the chicken uncovered in the oven.

Oven-Fried Chicken

Reviewed: May 9, 2013
I was pleasantly surprised with this recipe and thought it turned out very good...my suggestions would be to chop the nuts a little finer than just chopped. If they're too big they won't stay on the chicken. Secondly, cook on a rack. I just baked mine on a foil lined baking sheet that had a rack laying across it and it wasn't soggy at all. My chicken was a little larger at a little over 4lbs. and I cooked for 1 hour and 10 mins and it turned out perfect. Definitely saving this recipe.

Lasagna Stuffed Shells

Reviewed: May 8, 2013
Really liked this recipe....only change was I used Ricotta instead of cottage cheese because of taste preference. I will definitely make again.

Chicken Marsala

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2013
I've made this twice now and I really like it. Only suggestion I have is to cut back on the butter and oil a bit. Maybe 3tbs is enough? A lot of it went to the sauce and I think it's unnecessary for the sauce...it's great by itself!

Calico Squash Casserole

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2013
The casserole turned out pretty good although I omitted the pimentos and carrots. I think next time I will omit the water chestnuts too. We like just basic veggie casseroles. I did put in a little extra squash and zucchini, but not much. Love the ritz crumbles!

Avocado Quick Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2013
Interesting is a good word for this. I like it but mine definitely has the flavor of avocado....maybe if I had mashed it a little better it would have blended more. It's not a bad thing that I can taste the avocado its just a unique combo that I'm not used to yet. Still give it 4 stars!

Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms II

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2013
My husband loves these and they're so simple. I didn't use all of the cream cheese, I used about 3/4 of it so it would be meatier. We also prefer our mushrooms cooked so instead of broiling I baked them at 350 for 10-15 mins.

Butternut Squash Casserole

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2013
I loved this recipe! I did add cinnamon and nutmeg to the squash and omitted the cookies in the topping. They are unnecessary really. This isn't something we can eat on a regular basis due to its ingredients but an awesome recipe for a special occasion!

Original Ranch Pork Chops

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2013
I thought these turned out really good. I was a little skeptical of how ranch would taste on pork chops but my husband and I liked it. I did mix garlic salt in with the ranch seasoning and it gave it more of a garlic flavor.

Easy Cinnamon Rolls

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2013
I like this recipe, I've made it twice now but my rolls haven't turned out big at all. They're quite small actually. Maybe they need to sit out much longer than 90mins. Aside from size they're still delicious!!

Pumpkin Muffins with Streusel Topping

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2013
I thought this was good but I think the actual muffin part would be better with nutmeg, cinnamon, and cloves in it instead of pumpkin pie spice (like pumpkin bread). It would make it "spicier". I think the topping should be doubled also! It's the best part but there's not enough of it.

Chicken Breasts Stuffed with Perfection

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2013
I really liked this but the only problem I had is that it wasn't cooking evenly. Next time I will cut the chicken all rolled up in half (mine were pretty big-maybe I didn't pound it out enough).

Roast Beef and Gravy

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2013
I like this but there's a fine line with the roast being over done. I add mushrooms to the gravy too!

This is super simple and it was such a hit....I also like that it will stay good in the fridge for a while.

Big Soft Ginger Cookies

These cookies are by far my favorite...they melt in your mouth. I'm pretty generous with the spices just so they turn out extra tasty!

Onion Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2013
I always turn to this recipe when I need a last minute meal...I'm really not into plain old grilled chicken so this is a great way to jazz it up a bit but it's still super simple.

Loved this dumpling recipe...I'll be using it from now on! FYI...cut your pieces pretty small because they rose up quite a bit!

Stuffed Acorn Squash II

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2013
My husband and I both really loved this and my husband is a bit of a food snob and hard to please. I made it exactly as the recipe stated (I actually made the mixture earlier in the day and stuck it in the fridge) and it was great. Only "issue" I found was that I wish the squash had more room to hold more of the filling, we had some left over but there just wasn't enough room for anymore. I also found that 10mins in the microwave was plenty.

Barbecue Beef Cups

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2013
Just made this last night and I liked it! I used the Grands Jr. Biscuits since they're a little smaller. I did use a sweet BBQ sauce and I think I'll use a different one next time. It was just a little too sweet for me but all in all hubby and I liked it!
