Carrot Cake III
Fabulous cake. I also followed the advice and substituted applesauce for half the oil. I also added about an 1/8 tsp each of allspice, nutmeg and ground cloves because I'm nuts for a spice flavor. I used 2 cups of powdered sugar for the icing. Everyone was wild for the cake. A few people said it was the best they ever had. Just great. I'll be keeping this recipe in my collection and will definitely make it again.
