My husband and I really enjoyed this recipe, even though there were minor issues. My problem was the sauce was very watery, but I am fairly certain this was because I used tomatoes I chopped and froze during the summer instead of canned tomatoes, which resulted in way too much liquid in the recipe. No worries, we used crusty garlic italian bread to soak up all of the leftover sauce and it tasted great. I am sure if I put the leftovers in the fridge overnight, the sauce will soak into the noodles and it will be perfect tomorrow. I also added one small chopped green pepper to the recipe with the onions and garlic which added to the flavor of the recipe. I will definitely be making this again, though I might try defrosting my tomatoes completely and then draining off most of the liquid, I think that will help the watery sauce problem.
