This was creamy just too bland. I think I would add some more garlic and add basil.

Black Bean Vegetable Soup

This was delicious. However not enough vegtables so I added some rice and garbanazo beans as that is all I had. Next time I would add celery an zuchini.

Maryland Crab Cakes III

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2010
I increased Old Bay Seasoning to 1 1/2 tsp. Added 1 tsp parsley for color and seasoning. I refigerated the mixture for a few hours before shaping. I also put them together about 8 hours ahead of time and they were great. I cut them out using a cookie cutter as I wanted them to look professional and they did. I baked them at 350 degrees until hot and cooked through. Then I put them on a low broil setting for 2 minutes on each side to make them a golden brown. I served them with crab cake sauce from this site. The one submitted by sal. This was all delicious.

I made this one night and my family loved it/ I looked at the reviews and tried to improvise with green chilis and cilantro. Don't bother the original recipe was better. I used shredded cheese though instead.

Spinach Tortellini Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2009
I loved this soup. I gave it 4 stars because I tweeked the recipe a little bit. I addded about 5 ounces of baby spinach instead of the frozen. It gave the broth a real nice flavored broth. I added one carrot and one onion sauteed in olive oil. I also added 1/4 tsp black pepper and 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning. I added one extra can of chicken broth as the tortellini really sucks up the broth. Very delicious. The whole family liked it!!

Amazing Pork Chops in Cream Sauce

I tried this recipe with pork but it came out dry as all my pork recipes do. I then used turkey breast and flattened them out with a mallot. It was to die for. This recipe is a keeper.

Everybody loved this recipe. It makes alot so before baking put some aside in the freezer for another time. It tasted just as good. I did use 1/2 cup sourcream and 1/2 cup mayonnaise instead of the full cup of mayonnaise like others suggested. thanks for the recipe!!!!

My family liked this simple recipe. I even simplified it more by cutting the potatoes into scalloped slices after they were boiled, and just drizzling the ingredients over them. I then baked them in the oven until hot. They were very moist.
