Okay, so I MUST have done something wrong but I don't know what. I almost never follow recipes exactly, but because I'm new to baking, I made sure I followed everything to the letter. Everything was going along fine, until I went to knead the dough. It was SO SO SO sticky, it stuck to the floured surface, my hands, everything. I had to add at least another 1/4 cup of flour to get it to work. When I finally rolled it out to 12" x 9", I found that the amount of filling was WAY too much, like by 1/3 to 1/2 too much. When I rolled up my dough, a ton of it gushed out and made a huge mess. This took me about 2 hours altogether, and the texture was not "gooey" at all but more like a cross between bread and a proper cinnamon roll. I'd really like to try this again, because almost 1000 positive reviews can't be wrong. I wish I knew what happened!
