Pumpkin Cookies V

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2013
I added chocolate chips and these tasted a lot like the expensive ones I get at the grocery store. I'll increase the seasoning a bit the next batch. They are definitely one of my favorites now :)

I added an extra can of whole kernel corn and sour cream and this is exactly what I was looking for. It's quick and easy to fix too which is always good.

Cranberry Grape Salad

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2013
I added some extra sugar to the whipping cream and then added one large can of mandarins & pineapple, it needed a bit more fruit for me. I'm sure it will taste even better tomorrow after it chills.

This is quick and easy to make and works as a sauce for noodles as well. I used it on rice noodles for a delicious gluten free meal.

Kale Slaw

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2013
I made this but there were a few changes. I didn't have bacon and I used broccoli slaw I had. I also added walnuts when I was ready to eat it and this is a keeper. I can see being able to add what I want to it, making it different.

Baked Penne and Smoked Sausage

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2009
This is wonderful, very good, easy to make. I substituted green beans for the peas since I didn't have peas. I didn't have the french fried onions, but it was great without them. I'd love it with them too. I will make this again, love dishes I can make using sausage.

Creamy Beef Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2008
This was a very good recipe. It was quick and easy to make and the sour cream made it very creamy. I didn't have the pimentos. I added canned mushrooms. I added some garlic...one of my favorite spices, I didn't add much though. I used crackers instead of brad crumbs and also added some ccheddar cheese to the top. That added some great flavor to this dish. I will make this again!

Easy Spinach Lasagna with White Sauce

Excellent recipe! I loved this recipe and adapted it a little. I added some seafood and that was excellent for Thanksgiving. It would be great without it too. I will make it again before next Thanksgiving!

Best Ziti Ever

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2005
This recipe was excellent! It was easy to make, even a picky eater here liked it. I did add a large can of diced tomatoes, just because we like those. I think it would have been ok without them. Also I mixed the cheeses together and simply put them in together.I used 1/2 lb. ground Italian sausage and 1/2 lb. ground beef(what I had). I will make this again soon. Definitely a favorite!!

Cheesy Chicken Rolls

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2004
This recipe is really good. I cooked it like suggested in other reviews without the soup mixture on it and they turned out good ! Also I didn't have the rolls used in the recipe, so I tried using Bisquick and shaping it in rectangles to roll up. It worked well! I'd love to try it with the rolls used in the recipe ! I added mushrooms and some vegetables to the soup mixture...that was good !! I put some chicken in the soup mixture too.

Sausage Cornbread Bake

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2004
This is my kind of recipe...I LOVE IT !! Thanks, I wanted something a little different tonight. I will definitely make this again...it's going in my Recipe Box !! No sour cream here and I chose to leave out the sausage. I also added some other things for my taste. I added a 4 oz. jar of pimentos and a 4 oz. can of green chiles... both drained, also added 1c. of sugar and 2T of Emeril's Rustic Rub to add some kick to it. I was pleased with the result....next time I think I'll use more of the mix than I did this time (used one small package...2 would be better!)

These are very good !! Easy to make and they taste delicious when you are done !! Much easier to make than "buckeyes" at Christmas time. I will gladly make these instead !!!! I made a double recipe and had some leftover. I froze them in the freezer like I do the peanut butter cups !! I'm sure they will taste wonderful !!

This is just what I was looking for !! I had lost my recipe and hadn't made it for a while...kind of remembered it, but wanted a recipe to be sure I didn't mess up this delicious treat! Chicken Salad II

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2003
this was really good chicken salad. i liked the apples for a change instead of grapes. the only thing i ended up doing different was adding 8oz. cream cheese and I preferred that personally, it helped hold it together better. i will make it again though.
