Slow Cooker Sausage with Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2008
I can't believe how tender these sausages were. Made the recipe just as written. There was NOT a lot of grease. My husband loved them. Will make this again and pass it on to others.

Baked Beans III

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2005
Great recipe. I made it for a crowd this past weekend. It was a big hit. However, since I made 30 servings, it took about 3 hours to bake. Also, I added the chopped onion and dry mustard powder. I would also fry the bacon till crisp before adding the sugar to the top of the bacon. This wasn't specified and the bacon needed to be more done.

Easy Bake Brisket

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2003
This was probably the tastiest brisket (outside of smoked bbq) that I've ever made. I added fresh New Mexico Green Chile and dumped everything in the crock pot. Cooked on high for about 6 hours (the beef was even frozen) and it was just wonderful. There were hardly enough leftovers for a sandwich!

Cinnamon Raisin Bread I

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2003
Oh WOW! What a wonderful dough. Used my KitchenAide to mix and knead the dough. Had to add a bit more flour, but dough is just BEAUTIFUL and easy to shape and work with. This is the way Cinnamon Raisin Bread should be - not that messed up brown stuff that comes out of the bread machine. By the way - I love my bread maker, but not for this kind of bread.

Mango Cream

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2003
Mangos were easy enough to peel - about 5 minutes in boiling water and let cool - skin peeled right off. Nobody in my family liked it. I wont be making this again. Guess you really have to like Mangos. My son said it would be great with strawberries instead.

Bodacious Broccoli Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2003
Wow was this delicious! I used Splendra instead of sugar and slightly more mayonnaise. Best salad I've had in a long time. Will make this for 4th of July BBQ. I'm sure this would make an absolutely fantastic pasta salad, but I'm going to serve it as is. Thanks - this was truly delicious.

Best Bread Machine Bread

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2003
Nice light loaf - everyone loved it. Rose right to the top of the machine. Bigger than I thought it would be for a 1-1/2 pound loaf. Have already gotten requests for more.

Bread Machine Challah I

Reviewed: May 24, 2003
I adjusted the recipe to make a 2 pound loaf. Didn't know how it would work, but thought it was worth a try. The bread rose to the top of my machine - it was just beautiful. Crust was wonderful, texture was great. Nice big, light loaf. Will make this again. I think I'll just do the dough next time and try braiding it like a real challah - I may impress myself!

These were just wonderful. Made a double batch and they were gone in a flash - everyone loved them. Taking advice from other reviewers, I too, added some vanilla. Great recipe!!!

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: May 22, 2003
This was fantastic. Fast and easy - the dough came out just beautifully. I goofed and mixed the brown sugar, cinnamon and butter together instead of buttering the dough and then sprinkling the sugar. I also added raisins and chopped pecans at my hubby's request. I baked them at 375 as others suggested. These were fantastic and utterly delicious. Thanks for the recipe - it's a keeper!
