Pork Chops Italiano

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2011
I love this recipe. It was easy to make. I was able to prepare and relax while it cooked. I used this on loin lamp chops. It was yummy. I omitted the Green Pepper because I did not have one in my refrigerator like I thought I had.

Smothered Pheasant

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2014
I fried it like the recipe said for a few minutes on each side. Then since I did not have half and half I used Cream of Chicken soup and a little left over chicken stock. I added a 4 oz. can of green chiles and a small amount of milk. Mixed all of this together and poured over the pheasant breasts. I then added 2 stalks of chop celery and a few slices of white onion. I sprinkled some paprika, oregano, garlic salt and parsley on top. Bake them for 1 hour at 325 degrees in a covered casserole dish. It turned out pretty good! Moist and very flavorable. It was a tab bit dry but not to bad. At the end I added some brocolli. Served over white rice. Yum!

Spinach Stuffed Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2015
My husband and I enjoyed it. I made a few changes. I wrapped the chicken with two pieces of bacon and sprinkled a pinch of basil, oregano, pepper and paprika. I baked "uncovered" at 400 degrees for about 40 minutes. The bacon was nice and crisped. Nice flavor. Will make again!

Heavenly Halibut

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2014
I bake it at 375 degrees for 15 min like the other review suggested and then I spread on the sauce. I broiled it for 3 min. It was awesome. I had five filets and had to double the sauce recipe. My guests loved it! Had enough to put on the rice. Served with Brown rice and a mix salad. Will make this again.

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2015
I tried this tonight. I used brown sugar instead of white sugar and used a little less of it. I did the same thing with the low sodium soy sauce. I used this recipe for 6 thighs. Had just enough sauce. Basted them every 10 minutes. The last twenty minutes I did not base them but the last 8 minutes I added a quarter each of red and green bell pepper and a pinch of sesame seed. I cooked some broccoli and carrots and white rice to go with this dish. It came out perfectly! Not too sweet and the thighs were moist. Very good! My husband enjoyed this too! I will make again.

Savory Pork Stew

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2014
I replaced the corn with black beans as someone had done. I included some carrots as well. I cooked on the slow cooker for 6 hours on high. I added a few splashes of Worcestershire sauce too! It turned out great and had a nice taste to it. We actually liked it better than regular beef stew. Had a nice flavor to it. Would make this again. Perfect for a rainy day.

Chicken With Mushrooms

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2014
My Husband and I loved this dish! I did exactly what the recipe said and it was delicious! I left the cheese on the whole time and when it was done. The cheese had a slight brown look. It was very good. I used low fat Mozzarella cheese. I will definatley make this again with some company and I'll bet they will love it too! It was so easy to make. I may try saute the mushrooms next time and add garlic. But really it was just fine without doing that.
