Sausage Stuffed Jalapenos

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2013
I make these and they are awesome! I like to use turkey sausage and I've made them with a shredded Italian cheese blend when I didn't have Parmesan. They are always a hit!

Breakfast Sausage Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2011
I made two of these last weekend for our house full of guests. Both were gone in no time! I wasn't sure about the cream of mushroom soup on top, but it is awesome! This one is definitely a keeper!

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2010
LOVE these! My hubby thought I made them from a mix and said that was the best mix he's ever tasted. He was shocked to find out I made them from scratch and said they were the best muffins he's ever had. The only deviation I made from the recipe is I used half white, half brown sugar for the topping. I think it would be fine with all white sugar but I love the taste of brown sugar and use it when I can. I made these last weekend and I'm planning on making them this weekend, too!

Hearty Broccoli Dip

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2009
Made it according to the recipe and it was very bland. Tried adding salt and that helped a little, but no one really liked it. I ended up adding about half a jar of salsa and some chopped jalapenos to salvage the dip.

Jasmine's Brussels Sprouts

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2009
We LOVED this recipe. I seriously could have just eaten the Brussels sprouts and skipped the other side dishes and main course. I'll be making this frequently!

Superfast Asparagus

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2009
This was awesome!!! I've been cooking asparagus in olive oil and garlic, but it has been a little too oily for me. I followed the recipe by spraying it with olive oil spray and I sprinkled on Tony Chachere's creole seasoning. I baked it more than 10 minutes since we like our asparagus a little on the softer side. After about 13 minutes I put it in a small baking dish and finely grated some white sharp cheddar cheese on top. The oven was still warm so I popped it in and melted the cheese. It was GREAT!

Chicken Pot Pie III

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2008
We all loved this recipe! I didn't think there was too much thyme at all. The only things I did that weren't in the recipe are I added a dash of milk to the soups before mixing them for a smoother consistency, and I sauteed the chicken in a little butter instead of boiling it. I'll definitely be making this recipe again!

Make-Ahead Butterhorns

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2007
My family loves butterhorn rolls and this recipe is AWESOME! Very light and fluffy. I was able to make them a week early for Christmas and took them out of the freezer 5 hours before I needed to bake them. I baked them about 4 hours after taking them out because they had risen enough and I didn't want them to fall. They were PERFECT! I'm sharing this recipe with everyone I know!

Perfect Pressure Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2005
Great recipe! This is now requested in our house. My son-in-law even asked me to make this for his birthday dinner instead of going out to eat! Very easy and the meat is incredibly tender.

Simple Maple Syrup

Reviewed: May 13, 2003
Altered it a bit and my family liked it better. They thought it was too thin and light before. Instead of 2 cups of white sugar, use one cup white sugar and one cup brown sugar. I mixed all ingredients and let it come to a boil, then removed it from the heat. It made it thicker. I also added 1/2 tsp. of butter flavoring. Gave it kind of a "Mrs. Butterworth" flavor.
