Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2005
One of my children can't eat chocolate, so I used pecans instead and they are excellent! Thank you.

House Fried Rice

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2003
Wow! The first time I made this, all I had was ham, onion, garlic, celery and lima beans(!) and it was STILL good! I've tried other fried rice recipes before and they just didn't work. A keeper. Thanks!

Focaccia Bread

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2003
Wonderful! Just what I was looking for. We like this for breakfast, too. I leave out the thyme (not a favorite with us) and sometimes put garlic flavored oil on top with parm. cheese. I also let it rise on the pan after kneading instead of in a bowl. Makes it a little fluffier, I think.

Hearty Ham Casserole

We enjoyed this wonderful recipe for leftover ham. I added more onion to ours and my son ate the leftovers for breakfast!

Good 100% Whole Wheat Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2004
Wonderful! I let the bread machine do the work and I then baked this in the oven. (I like bread better that way.) I've been looking for a 'soft' 100% whole wheat recipe and NOW I've found it. Thank you!

Boiled Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2004
Hey! This is what I do! And it really IS the best. The broth is the best ever, too. It makes fabulous chicken and dumplings or chicken soup.

Canadian Doughnuts

These are good and VERY easy. I make half the recipe and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar but haven't tried the lemon juice. They usually puff up and are hollow when fried.

Hearty Egg Rolls

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2006
Because of allergies, I had to omit the soy sauce and pepper, but added onion, salt and lots of garlic. (I know it would have been even better with soy sauce!) My husband dipped these in sweet and sour sauce and didn't realize they weren't regular egg rolls and my child who doesn't like egg rolls or cabbage liked them! Had leftover filling, so I fried it like a hamburger patty. I'll make this again. I never would have thought of potatoes... Thanks.

Stuffed Zucchini

Reviewed: May 24, 2005
This is good and easy. Even my children liked it! I browned the sausage first and used leftover rice instead of bread crumbs. I plan to try yellow squash and other veg. to see what else my kids will eat! Thanks for this recipe.

Blackberry Yummies

I found this recipe just as our berry bushes were loaded. I went outside, picked some and made this quick dessert. It's good warm with Cool Whip. Thanks.

Whole Wheat Wraps

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2005
I really appreciate this recipe. I'm on a yeast-free diet and needed something like this! I make half the recipe into 16 wraps. It makes 6" circles. I use my dough hooks to knead and roll all of them out on a lightly floured cloth, place them all on a cookie sheet (they don't stick together because of the floured cloth) and cook them in the skillet. Also, putting them in a container while hot keeps them from getting too hard. These are much better then store purchased wraps and don't take tons of time.
