Old Time Popcorn Balls

These were great! Like others have noted, it does take awhile to get to hard ball stage. Well worth the wait!

My husband is not a big fan of pot roast. When he smelled it in the oven he called me and said, "If this tastes as good as it smells, it should be terrific". Well it did. It was terrific. I did use fresh garlic since I do not keep garlic powder in my cupboard and the chutney I had on had was apple and cranberry. It was served over penne pasta.

Middle Eastern Rice with Black Beans and Chickpeas

This was great! Needs salt, but of course that can be added at the table. Makes 8 - 1 1/2 cup servings. Low in calories, high in protein. Definately will be making this again.

Stuffed Pork Chops with Gorgonzola and Apple

Boilermaker Tailgate Chili

I figured with a five star rating and over 700 raters this chili must be GREAT. I neglected to read that most people altered the recipe to get it to five stars. I made it according to the recipe and it required much doctoring before I could serve it to our guests. The chili was average, not spectacular. Good, not great.

Curry Cheese Ball

Very good and quite easy as well. I made a log rather than a ball and was quite pleased. Next time I will cut the recipe in half as it is a bit more than my family needs.
