Pineapple Upside-Down Cake in a Glass

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2012
This drink was a big hit at our party. I made it by the pitcher and pre-chilled so I didn't have to use ice. It really tastes like the name. More people drank this than any other dink. This is my new favorite. Most liquor stores carry cake vodka now...call ahead.

Jalapeno Popper Spread

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2011
This recipe is frequently requested at our functions. I add panko crumbs to the cheese before topping and I bake in the oven. Excellent flavor and best served with sliced toasted bagettes with a little butter and garlic sprinkle on top. Yummm. Because I have a lot to do the day of our functions, I prepare this the day before and cook the day of.

Water Chestnut Wraparounds

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2011
My family requests these at all our functions. From the ingrediants, it doesn't sound like something that would be too appetizing but these are really amazing and you can't stop eating them.

Sesame Pasta Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2010
My family really loves this dish. I prepare a vegatarian version omitting the chicken. I also sautee minced garlic, broccoli, carrots and peas and add along with the sesame dressing. This is an outstanding recipe and even better the day after when all the flavors have marinated.

Pineapple Crisp

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2008
I couldn't wait to try this recipe. It sounded to scrumptous and that it was. I added a layer of sliced bananas on the crust before pouring the pineapple mixture on as suggested by another reviewer. The bananas take some of the sweetness out and was an awesome addition. I topped each serving with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Wow I am definitely making this again. This is one of those recipies you take to functions to impress.

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2008
Just as everyone says...this is an awesome recipe. I basically followed the recipe with the exception of adding a dash of nutmeg to the ricotta cheese mixture. Awesome...everyone wanted more.

Chocolate Trifle

Reviewed: May 29, 2008
This recipe is always requested among my family and co-workers. I make a more simplified version. I use a layer of brownies, a layer of regular chocolate pudding (prepared with a little less milk for a richer pudding) and a layer of crushed Skor candy bars then repeat those three layers again then top with cool whip. For the cook on the go I will substitute the crushed candy bars with the toffee chips and use triple chunk brownie mix for the added chocolate which is left out if you do not use the Skor candy bars. This is for the chocolate lover. We call this dish Chocolate Goop.

Best Beef Dip Ever

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2008
This really is the best and super easy. I've made it several times now. I use low sodium soy sauce and added a beef cube for added flavor. I also strain some of the juice after and add corn starch to make an awesome gravy to go over rice or potatoes. You owe it to yourself to try this at least once. Trust me you will make it again.

Bob's Awesome Lasagna

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2004
Made this recipe over the weekend and everyone made comments that this was the best lasagna. I had a very large pan and did a 1.5 ratio of ingredients to the noodles. I also mixed together Ricotta and cottage cheese instead of just cottage cheese. It turned out great. Will definitely make this lasagna recipe from now on.

Awesome and Easy Creamy Corn Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2004
This is a very good corn casserole. I am considering substituting the sour cream with cream cheese, as someone suggested, next time. The sour cream added a flavor that I would prefer not be there for this dish.

Creamy Pesto Shrimp

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2004
This recipe was very tasty. I will definitely make it again. For those that are not crazy about seafood, other meats can be substituted like chicken.

This recipe was delicious. Didn't have as many bananas and added walnuts and vanilla and it turned out great.

This is a delicious recipe. My son can't get enough. That is why I have to limit how often I make this one. It is a great dip for parties.

Awesome Broccoli-Cheese Casserole

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2003
This recipe deserves an update. I am making this dish once again for Christmas because it is the most requested recipe that I own. It is the best broccoli recipe I have found so far. I add a butter and club cracker crumb mixture on the top before I bake it. It is scrumptous. I highly recommend that you try this.

Bread Pudding

Reviewed: May 20, 2003
This is the ALL-TIME BEST bread pudding. I have taken it to work for parties many times and EVERYONE raves about it, that is why I have to make it several times a month. I usually add coconut and raisins. Thanks for sharing.
