Unbelievable Chicken

A yummy change. I made it for a group of people, it went over very well. Next time, I'll reduce a bit the cider vinegar as I felt that taste came out the strongest. Thanks for the recipe!

I would give this quite a few more stars if I could. I was intimidated by roasting the peppers but I am so happy I tried it out!!! YUMMY!!! It really does taste like the PC stuff :)

Ian's Potato-Vegetable Soup

A very good base recipe!! I didn't have any cream of celery soup, so I was going to make a cream soup base myself but ended up burning it. I decided just to add about 2 tbsp of cornstarch (mixed in with some water) to the soup and it came out with the consistency I love. I also added an extra potato, a few extra carrots and I skipped the frozen veggies. I also addedsome thyme and rosemary..mmmm...I'm already imagining what I'll add next! Thanks for the recipe.

Lentil Soup III

As previous reviewers suggested, I sauted the onion and some minced garlic before adding it to the soup. Next time I would add half the amount of lentils, mine came out more as a stew and less as a soup, I added a bit of water later on in the cooking in order to have some more broth. Very easy to make.

Butter Chickpea Curry

Fantastic. Following a previous reviewer, I added a can of crushed tomatoes and some coconut milk because I didn't have any tomato soup on hand. I also added some sliced carrots while I was cooking the onions and some curry paste because I was lacking a few of the spices. Yummy!

Cinnamon Supper Cake

A really nice basic cake to make with ingredients that are often on hand! I substituted the white sugar for brown sugar for the topping because I wanted the brown sugar taste.
