Jewish Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2012
My biggest disappointment was not getting to eat that much of it - my boyfriend and roommate gobbled it all up! I used brown sugar instead of confectioner's sugar, and veggie oil instead of butter after reading the reviews here and it turned out great. Very yummy. Also I used pecans instead of walnuts because that's all I had lying around, and it was just as yummy! Next time I make this I will probably use both pecans and walnuts.

Quick Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2012
This was great! Very easy and I like how natural it tasted- this is so much better than buying your typical grocery store jar white sauce, PLUS I can pronounce all of the ingredients! I did not have any parsley but it was fine without. I only had shredded Parmesan cheese, but that worked fine too! I poured this over cheese tortellini and it was very quick and tasty,

Quick and Easy Mexican Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2012
Wow! Amazing! I highly recommend using your favorite salsa. I used Newman's Own Black Bean and Corn Salsa, and I used the whole jar. It was SO GOOD I'm sure to do it again and again. It was a big hit with my brother and my boyfriend too! Definitely try this one out.

Rhubarb and Strawberry Pie

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2012
I had never even tried rhubarb when I made this pie! I made this recipe exactly as they said, and it turned out beautifully! Golden brown and everything. I took it out of the oven at 4pm, and we ate a slice at about 11pm and it was perfect. The recipe does not say to dice or cut the strawberries, and I have never made a fruit pie before so I was not sure what to do. I ended up cutting them into fourths. That worked out perfectly.

Burrito Pie

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2012
This is a very fun recipe to play with! I change it up a bit every time. Usually I like to vegetarian style, using black beans and corn along with salsa, cheese, and green chilies. If you like Mexican food you will love this, and have some fun with it. Add your favorite ingredients and it's sure to please!

No Bake Peanut Butter Pie

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2012
Made exactly as said, it is an amazing pie! Very tasty and any peanut butter lover will love it. Now when I make this pie I take it to the next level: I use a chocolate graham cracker crust, and before pouring in the pie mixture I spread a thin layer of peanut butter on the bottom of the crust. That way when I pop it in the freezer to set, there's a yummy layer of PB on the bottom of the pie! Sometimes I will put chocolate syrup on the bottom, that is good too. Also, I use Smucker's All Natural Creamy PB, and it's the BEST with this pie!
