Spicy Garlic Lime Chicken

Wow! I make this all the time for people and everyone always loves it. I always brown the sides first, for presentation, and then cover the pan to cook them through.

Beth's Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2005
Oh my god! These were the best chocolate chip cookies I ever made. I've made so many chocolate chip cookies, but I'll never go back to those other recipes - this one is by far the best. I learned a trick on here to made the chewier and softer: mayonnaise. Add 1 teaspoon of mayonnaise after beating in the eggs to the creamed butter and sugar, before the dry ingredients. Wow! It was amazing. I never thought I'd want to add mayonnaise to my cookies, but it was amazing!

Cherry Pie III

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2005
I got RAVE reviews on this pie. To be honest, I don't like cherry pie in general, so I didn't think it was that great. I made it for my boss's birthday at work and everyone loved it, including my boss. That made me happy :)

Grandma's Chicken Noodle Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2005
Wow! This soup was great. I made a smaller portion, since it was just me and my roommate. I used 8 cups of low sodium chicken broth, meat from one small game hen, and 2 cups of wide egg noodles. I wanted the flavor of all the veggies, but I can't stand eating cooked celery. I put 1/2 yellow onion, 3 stalks celery, and 5 cloves of garlic (all coarsely chopped) in chesse cloth and allowed them to boil into the soup before it finished, about 10 minutes, and then removed them. I also cooked the noodles directly in the broth and added sliced carrots at the end of it all. All in all, the best soup i've ever made at home!!!!

Easy Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2005
I made these sugar-free, with splenda, for a friend that can't eat Carbs. He RAVED over them! Now I make them all the time with splenda. This recipe is great, and easy too. I make them into drop cookies and they always turn out great.

Boston Cream Pie II

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2004
Here's a trick I learned a couple of years ago about splitting the cake. Instead of using a knife to cut the cake, you can use dental floss. Just use a long piece of floss to line up the floss with center height of the cake, all the way around the edge. When the floss is all lined up, loop the ends over each other and pull through. This will give one perfect slice through the cake two make two thin cakes!

Red Skinned Potato Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2004
This recipe was delicious. I made a half recipe for our labor day party, and it went so fast that I should have made more. I added garlic powder and mustard powder, which I thought it needed.

Rhubarb and Strawberry Pie

Great Pie! I made this for my dad for fathers day. He's a tough critic because this is his favorite pie, and he's had a lot of it before this one. He said this was the best he's ever had.

Mouse's Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2004
I have tried 5 recipes before this one, and this was by far the best. The sauce was the right consistency and it tasted right! My family thought it was great. We even fought over the leftovers!
