Simple Whole Roasted Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2013
I made this because it sounded interesting and it instantly became our favorite baked chicken recipe. The combination of flavors is magical and the chicken is moist and juicy. We tripled the rub to maximize the flavor and enjoyed every bite. It also smelled wonderful as it was baking. Warning: clean up is messy. It tends to splatter and create little black burned specks on your pan. Next time I'll use foil. But it was sooooo worth it!

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2011
This really IS the world's best lasagna. So simple, but apparently a perfect blend of ingredients, as my family requests this over and over again - in fact, my daughters teenage boy friends beg me to make it, which I consider the ultimate compliment to this recipe. It is easy and incredible!

Harvest Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2011
Absolutely five star! My family LOVES this recipe. We exchanged the walnuts for salted sunflower seeds to balance the sweetness of the dressing and my husband likes a little bacon in it (for the same reason) but it is also perfect just as-is. We'll keep this recipe forever!

Crawfish Chowder

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2010
Delicious, quick, and rich! Excellent as is. We've also made it by substituting clams for the crawfish, adding one small regular onion and about a tablespoon of minced garlic sauteed in with the green onions plus about 4 oz. of smoked salmon. Yum!

Breakfast Casserole II

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2003
Prepared for family brunch and got rave reviews! This is a real keeper. We used tater tots and placed them in the bottom of the casserole as a "crust." Could use extra 10 minutes of cooking. Excellent recipe! Looking forward to making again.

Excellent! The second time we made it, we added fresh chives, crisp bacon, corn, and a combination of fish, shrimp, and lobster. It was wonderful!
