I followed the recipe, but ended up with very flat cookies. They started out soft in the center, but with in an hour started to get hard all the way through. next time I will follow the suggestions to decrease the white sugar to 1/2 cup, increase the brown sugar to 1 1/2 cups. Make sure to take out of oven before they look done. One reviewer suggested refrigerating the dough for at least an hour before baking so that they don't flatten. Another reviewer suggested leaving them on the cookie sheet for 10 minutes after cooking, instead of moving them directly to the cooling rack so that they stay chewier. I will try these tips next time.
