I keep wondering if I will ever find a recipe that doesn't turn out well! This was great stuff!! I only wish I was a better judge of pouring off HALF of a mixture.

Sesame Chicken Strips with Sweet Sauce

This was an awesome recipe! Moist, tender and very flavorful! I made it as a main dish by using pounded out chicken breasts (halved) and increased the cooking time to about 35 minutes. I modified the recipe by adding dijon mustard (a few tablespoons) to the final dipping sauce and thinning out the mayo/mustard dredge with some olive oil and regular mustard. I would suggest making more of the sesame/cracker crumb mix because I didnt have quite enough. Great job Erica!

Gooey Butter Cookies

Yet another fantastic cookie recipe from add some of your favorite jam to the center of these cookies and you're good to go! Don't worry about the handling problems. I had a paper towel with a little oil on it and just rubbed it on my hands once in a while.

Chicken and Bacon Shish Kabobs

This was very good! I had trouble before with mushrooms on the skewers but marinading them made them more pliable and they didn't fall apart. The chicken and bacon combo was fantastic!

Cheesecake Supreme

This cheesecake rivals anything you will ever buy in a bakery or a fine restaurant! I've read all the tips and here's the scoop on the "Undercooked" problem. I baked it according to the directions but after the hour at 200 degrees, I simply shut the oven off. DO NOT PROP THE DOOR OPEN. I left the cheesecake in the oven for a few hours. Actually, I went to bed around 1am when the baking was done, got up for work at 5am, took the cake out of the oven and put it in the fridge. There were NO cracks and it was set perfectly! This is the best cheesecake I've ever had and can be the basic starter for any additions you may want to make, like chocolate chips or carmel sauce... give it a shot, it's easier than you think!!

Chocolate Chip Cheesecake I

Out of 5 possible Stars this recipe should get 100! Fantastic! This is the first cheesecake I've ever made. I made the cheesecake, put it in the oven for the hour, then shut the oven off. Since it was midnight, I asked my daughter to take it out of the oven after an hour... So of course I got up the next morning and found it still in the oven! Guess what! IT WAS STILL FANTASTIC!! (not a bad first cheesecake for a single dad)
