Tasty Fried Eggplant Balls

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2004
Wonderful! I had to add a bit more bread crumbs to make the texture stiffer, but I may not have drained the eggplant thoroughly. Drain the egplant REALLY well and you might not have to add the extra. Very tasy way to use eggplant thank you so much for this wonderful recipe!

Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies III

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2004
Very good, I subbed in non-hydrogenated margarine for butter and decreased it to 3/4 of a cup. Very good cookie. Just as a PSA though, just because there are no eggs doesn't mean it's safe to eat the raw batter. All of the danger in raw eggs comes from contamination by the shell. You are just as exposed if you touch an egg shell and don't wash your hands as you are if you eat a whole raw egg. The dangerous part in raw cookie dough is the raw flour, which can contain worms. Great cookie though!

tastes fine; has nice consistency; yiels one cup, however, not four, big difference.

Banana Bread I

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2003
Fantastic recipe! I made some adjustments just like everyone else; half white and half dark brown sugar, and cinnamon. I also threw some slivered almonds in and on top, and it was wonderful. Thank you for this recipe!

Banana Banana Bread

Reviewed: May 19, 2003
Fantastic! Great banana flavour, not too sweet, moist... I swear, this is my Grandma's recipe. I added slivered almonds for texture and that worked out fabulously. Chocolate chips next time!

Tomato Soup Cake I

Reviewed: May 15, 2003
Absolutely delicious. Definitely will make again. I replaced the tomato soup for low-sodium tomato soup and I omitted the salt. Also, I had no cloves so I added extra cinnamon and some nutmaeg and allspice and it was so spicy and yummy. Great recipe.

Cocoa Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: May 13, 2003
Kind of bland, maybe some cinnamon would spice it up. Thought it would be a nice chewy cookie, but it was mostly just pasty. Too cocoa-y for me!
