Delicious Ham and Potato Soup
Delicious soup! I made this according to the recipe with a few small tweaks- I sautéed the onions and celery first, and used some leftover ham gravy in place of bouillon. I used the microwave to make my white sauce- quick and easy. I just had a bowl of the soup, and it is awesome. I'm glad I made a double batch because my three teenage sons are going to love it for dinner tonight!

French Toast Sausage Fluffins
Good recipe! It has a lot of potential. I didn't notice any particularly yeasty flavor like other reviewers mentioned. Having made this according to the recipe, I think I would suggest adding a little cinnamon, and maybe a pinch of nutmeg to the batter to give it a more classic French Toast flavor. I think bacon or diced ham could be utilized in place of sausage quite easily, and with good results. The texture seems good without any meddling.

Bacon Chicken and Dumplings
This recipe is a good starting point with nice flavor, but after following the recipe exactly, I would make adjustments. For starters, probably double the bacon. The liquid is too much and ends up on the runny side. I think you could safely reduce the liquid by at least one cup, and possibly add a little flour to thicken the liquid before adding the dumplings. It could use some extra poultry seasoning, and the dumplings will be runny if you follow the directions, add at least a couple of tablesoppoons of baking mix to get the dough thick enough to make good dumplings. With a few alterations, I think this recipe will be a keeper. My family enjoyed it as is, and will like it even better next time.
