Indian Chai Hot Chocolate

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2007
Not bad...A little odd at first, but the more I drank, the more I wanted it.

Unbaked Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2007
Very good, much like I remember. Make sure the sugar is dissolved completely or the cookies will turn out a bit grainy.

Zucchini Boats on the Grill

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2007
Excellent stuffed zucchini. I used crushed seasoned croutons rather than the slice of bread and they turned out sooo good! Will make again. Thanks!

Penne with Shrimp

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2007
Even with seasoning, this meal was only okay. Might be better with the alfredo as suggested, and I think I'll use chicken if I make it again.

Baked Sweet Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2007
This was very good. More flavor than typical baked potato pieces. I would add more seasoning next time, but They were a great alternative for a french fry craving!

Green Beans Amandine

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2007
This was very good. I liked the lemon a lot and the slivered almonds made for a nice contrast in texture. Yum!

Double-Cheese Eggs Benedict

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2007
Very tasty! Used only turkey bacon for the meat, added slice of tomato, and used rice milk for the sauce. Worked beautifully!

Crustless Spinach Quiche

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2007
A-MAZING! This was so good. I ate way too much of it. Like a frittata, and so fluffy. Used egg beaters, and it was still fabulous. I added mushrooms and vine ripe tomatoes. Delish!

Roasted Vegetables

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2007
This was good. Kind of bland. I would use less rosemary next time as it was a bit overwhelming for me. And I put the root veggies in first as suggested for the first 20 minutes, and they still weren't completely done! I think playing with the spices and cooking the root veggies thoroughly will make it a five star roasted veggie recipe.

Grilled Cheese with Tomato, Peppers and Basil

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2007
It was pretty good. Seed the serranos if you don't want all the spice. I left mine in because I really enjoy spicy food.

Cubanos Frijoles

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2007
I changed up the recipe a bit. I didn't have the cajun seasoning, cilantro, or chipotle, so I used cumin and chili powder, added jalepeno juice for a little more kick, and used chipotle diced tomatoes. I used green stuffed olives rather than black. I served on white rice and topped with shredded cheese and sour cream. Sooooooo good! Like a Cuban chili.

Feta Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2007
Pretty good. I didn't have much time to prepare in the oven, so I had small stuffed and breaded pieces of chicken that I pan fried in a little cooking spray until done. Moist and tasty.

Broccoli and Tofu Stir Fry

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2007
This was a nice, simple stir fry. It lacked a little in flavor of the sauce, so I added a bit of szechuan to taste. The tofu took on the flavor quite nicely. Served on top of white rice.
