Four Egg Yellow Cake
I don't know why anyone would have a problem with this recipe. The only thing I can think of is not cutting the shortening/butter into the sugar well or not using an electric hand mixer to blend it all together. This is a wonderful and easy cake recipe. Does it give you a box mix cake? No. What it gives you is an honest to goodness old fashioned yellow cake. Better on the second day too! :D

Magnificent Macaroni Salad
Best macaroni salad recipe I've tried yet! Simple but great just the way it is or a wonderful base recipe to expand on. Will be making this again with Old Bay and crab meat soon! Two suggestions: First off, more onions and a course chop or they'll get lost in it all. Secondly, it will dry out in the fridge. When it does, just add water until it gets the creaminess back! Thanks for the recipe!

Braised Chicken Breasts in Tasty Mirepoix Ragout
This is by far the best thing I've found to do with boneless/skinless chicken breasts. If you're wondering what it tastes like, to me it's a lot like really good homemade chicken noodle soup... without the noodles and a little thicker. I read the other reviews before I made it, and the only change I made besides scaling the recipe down, was to cut the chicken broth in half and then made up the difference with water. It got a little thick on me about 30 minutes out when I added the chicken, and I just added some more water and let it cook until the consistency was to my liking and lowered the sodium enough to where I ended up adding a touch more for my tastes.
