Japanese Style Deep Fried Shrimp

My husband is from Louisana and very picky about how shrimp is prepared. He loved this recipe. I made no changes to the recipe.

Awesome Eggplant Rollatine

I didn't have time to deal with rolling up the eggplant slices, so I layered them in the pan instead with the filling inbetween. I also doubled the sauce. This was a big hit. "Lasagne lite".

Ham and Asparagus Fettuccine

This was great! Estimated cooking time is increased if you trim the Asparagus. Next time I will thicken with flour as the other's suggested and use milk.

Seafood Fettuccine

I was looking for a quick recipe with hamburger so I didn't have to go to the store. I used Pinto Beans with Jalepeno, because I didn't have baked beans, and I used kidney beans. I added bell pepper and served over rice. It turned out really well.

Cara's Creamy Stuffed Shells

We loved this recipe. I used half Italian sausage and half hamburger I also added about 1/4 of the Ramono cheese to the filling. I also used extra sauce as other's recommended. We live in a rural area, and the grocery store ususally doesn't have "speciality" pasta so I used Manicotti instead.

Bourbon Pecan Chicken

This recipe is wonderful. Great for company. It is fast and easy to make. Easy kitchen clean up too! We discovered one more great thing about this recipe. If you are lucky enough to have left overs and chop up a couple hard boiled eggs add a couple of teaspoons of mayo a couple more green onions you have an awesome chicken salad.

Amish Meatloaf

This recipe was wonderful. Great flavor great consistency. The only thing I changed was I used 1lb of mild sausage and 1lb of hamburger. My husband had complained my previous meatloaf recipe did not have "enough tomato flavor". He absolutely loved this one! The vinegar and mustard in the sauce kept it from tasting like someone just poured a bottle of ketchup on top of it.

Southern Candied Sweet Potatoes

This was an easy break from regular Russet Potatoes. The only thing I would have done different was to slice the potatoes a little thicker. I used the side of a grater and they were too thin. I will certainly make this again.

J.P.'s Big Daddy Biscuits

Not that this recipe needs another rating, but I just have to share. My husband is from the South I am from CA. He LOVES homemade biscuits. Until today I couldn't come close. He was so surprised when I served them for breakfast this morning! I finally made perfect biscuits. Thank you.
