Fish Chowder

This is a good base. I added corn and a lot more mushrooms. I used 1 lb. of cod and 1lb.bay scallops. Next time, I will add crumbled bacon into the chowder.

Savory Garlic Marinated Steaks

Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies I

These cookies were "melt in your mouth" gooey right out of the oven. They were best the first day but were still tasty the second. They were a definite hit with my husband and kids. Next time I will try milk chocolate chips.

Southwestern Egg Rolls

WOW! These came out just like Chili's Southwestern Eggrolls. I tripled the recipe and used 20 wonton wrappers. I froze them as directed and they fried up perfectly. Served to my Bunco group with salsa mixed into ranch dressing and they were very impressed.

Christmas Breakfast Sausage Casserole

This is a popular breakfast dish but I thought it was just okay. I should have pressed out more grease from the sausage as I thought it was too greasy. I did use 6 eggs and an extra slice of toast which turned out well. I recommend using a 9 x 13" pan.

Seared Sea Scallops

We love these scallops. I use only 1/3 c. of flour and add parmesan cheese and garlic powder to the mix. We like them with mashed potatoes.

Charbroiled Salmon

Cowboy Cookie Mix in a Jar

I changed my layers to be more pleasing to the eye. Chocolate chips went last so that the flour wouldn't fall through the cracks. I made these jars for Christmas gifts for friends and everyone has said they were really good when baked. One husband said they were the best cookies he has ever eaten!

Irresistible Pecan Pie

My husband loved this pie. I don't eat pecan pie but I made it for Thanksgiving and used "Grandma's Secret Pie Crust" recipe. I used only 1 1/2 c. of pecans per other reviews.

Luau Chicken

Delicious! This was easy and wonderful. I fried the onion and green pepper a bit with the chicken before I put it in the oven. I didn't need to cook it the whole hour. My whole family loved it.

Chocolate Chip Cheesecake I
