About this Cook
I'm young but I love cooking and baking and stuff like that.
My favorite things to cook
Mostly sweets. Cookies, cakes. Things like that.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mother and I used to make banana bread about once a week. I now make it with two little girls I watch every week. The oldest one, seven, asked me once "When I'm a mommy, can I make this with my kids?" I said sure as long as she told them who taught her.
My cooking triumphs
Hmmmmmmmm, I am normally good about making good things. I made a lemon pie once that my mom only makes right about half the time.
My cooking tragedies
I am not sure. I don't mess things up often. OOOOO, my friend and I were making cookies at 2 one morning and while they were in the oven, spilled over the edge of the pan and got all over the bottom on the oven. And we had added three times the ammount of salt so they were not that good..........

Chocolate-Filled Crescents
I just finished making these and i LOVE them. I had no mini chips so i used full size ones. the only thing i think is needed it metlted butter to hold the chips on. i tried just placing them on a few and when i went to roll them, they fell off. so i melted some butter and brushed it on before placing the chips

Chewy Sugar Cookies
This is just amazing! I've been making them all the time for my family and they just disapear! One thing is make sure you put the dough in the refrigerator for a few hours. The cookies dont spread as much and are easier to roll into balls.
