I am never surprised by what "adventure" life will invariably provide you with. My family and my friends are the most important thing to me in the whole world. I have driven across the country twice, from South Florida to Southern California, and have been to both Mexico and the Bahamas, but would love to do more traveling in and out of the country. I have an appreciation for the open-minded, outspoken, opinionated types and tend to gravitate toward those that know what they want out of life! I have always been very interested and amazed by culture, tradition, language, dialect, etc. I can still play the piano and sometimes I prefer to listen to my music in languages I do not understand. I love cooking food of all kinds, wine-tasting, extreme sports such as skydiving and rock climbing, writing, painting, and working my butt off trying to further my career.
My favorite things to cook
Anything and everything. The list of things I don't like to cook would be shorter... I love healthy things that taste unhealthy, soups of all kinds, and anything creative or out of the ordinary. I don't like pasta too much and wont eat anything covered in marinara sauce or containing peanuts (99.9% of the time, at least). I love veggies, meat, and really good cocktails.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I love the holidays; cooking squash casserole for Thanksgiving and Christmas has become more than a tradition in my family. Although we don't do it much anymore, baking with the family during Christmastime is a cherished memory and something I miss doing more and more as the years pass by.
My cooking triumphs
I make a kick- guacamole and pico de gallo, my families squash casserole is to die for, my chorizo & Gouda stuffed jalapenos are a staple for any potluck, and I can whip up some spicy garlic shrimp that'll blow your mind.
My cooking tragedies
I can murder a cake like nobodies business... not sure why, but I never fail to destroy things like that.
